Yeah I really don't get it. Your collection shows that you own at least $100,000 in pins, if it's accurate. But you're wondering if you should spend a couple grand more for the CE? If I had that kind of money to throw into pins, I wouldn't even blink at a couple grand.

Yes they will. I guarantee you that Automated and other dealers will buy what's left of the 150 that collectors didn't buy and have them for sale at an inflated price a year from now.
