Great customer service there!

What angle do you guys have your play field set?
Quoted from KingPinGames:Yes, all dice owners will be getting new legs. Mix up while ordering caused all the ce legs to be woz/hobbit legs to get powder coated instead of di legs.
Weird... @richiewrench’s played fine with the short legs... now the first batch of DICE is even more collectible. Some people might think DICE is where it’s at, but the true connoisseur will know that it’s all about the DICE:SHORTY edition!
Quoted from PtownPin:What angle do you guys have your play field set?
Whatever that recommended second bubble line is at. I haven't actually measured it.
Quoted from BladeFury:EBay can't remember which one because we got them for work we had to do....
BladeFury .... I was able to get my 12V/5A power source set up. It plugs into the AC outlet on the power box in front right of cab. The problem is that even when the game is OFF the new power source is still on and sends power to the mods. What am I missing here? Thanks in advance...Craig

(this is based on B/W games, but I believe JJP games are the same way) You'll need to rewire the power box to insert the outlet *after* the power switch. The outlet bypasses the switch normally, so you can plug in a tool and work on the game without it being on. But for mods, you want it in line with the switch. It's not a hard change, you just need to open the power box and snip and join a couple of wires.
now you may not want to do that to your beautiful DICE, so you can use a relay, or buy a power splitter that plugs into the molex connector coming out of the power box.

Ok, thank you. That makes sense. Any links to specific instructions on exactly what to do?

Is there a 3 pin 12V molex connector in the cab on JJP games for plugging in mods? I don't see a molex connector coming out of power box. This was the whole reason i added the external power supply but perhaps I'm way over complicating this.
Thanks all. -- Craig
Richie or other CE owners
Do you think the DI CE is worth the extra cost over the LE ? I am in the market for one and trying to understand the up cost, Is the code different in the CE ?

The molex connector I was talking about is the cube that's connecting to the main power for the game. You'd have to split off of that - I think it's 9 pins. (sorry, I'm not at home right now)
here's a link to a thread which discusses doing this mod. It is for adding a powered subwoofer, but the point about the service outlet is the same:

Thank you for the link. Yikes...I'm not skilled enough to 100% understand exactly what he did.

Sorry :/ there may be a connector out there that will help - you may not want to mess with your game anyway, probably better to find a pre-packaged solution. I'm sure there is one!

Exactley!!
Wow I like the idea of the pin sitting a little lower to match my height. Wonder if potc can be ordered that way?
Quoted from Vdrums:Wow I like the idea of the pin sitting a little lower to match my height. Wonder if potc can be ordered that way?
You know what, I'm like 6' 1" and was puzzled as to why the game was so short but have grown to really like it at this height. You can really get on top of the game. They should maybe consider making the leg height fit to order. 28" vs 30"
Quoted from BladeFury:Exactley!!
BladeFury I'm sure you have better things to do but I would be really grateful for instructions on how to change around power box to accommodate the power supply that turns off when game is off. Here is a pic of what I've done so far.
Who has received their new longer legs for their CE?
I just got mine. Look good, work as expected.
May not even put them on short-term because I like to sit on a stool to play and the lower height is nice for sitting.

Yeppers and on! Love them
Hey guys did someone mention something about JJP sending out new legs to CE owners because the current legs are too short or something??
Yup. This has been ongoing since the vendor corrected the mistake and powder coated the correct ones this time.
Quoted from Pinballomatic:Yup. This has been ongoing since the vendor corrected the mistake and powder coated the correct ones this time.
Thats cool, I hope they also send a new shooter to match the amazing cabinet and art! Maybe a powder coated one too! Lets cross our fingers!
Quoted from Oneangrymo:Hey guys did someone mention something about JJP sending out new legs to CE owners because the current legs are too short or something??
Look at the bright side...at least it's only on 150 games and not 1000 or more.
I just noticed the station on the CE is different on the flyers & on JJP website CE Gallery.
Station looks to have lights on it, maybe to signify ball locks.
Hey all DICE owners,
Has anyone received a status on the DICE jackets or the lunch with the design team?

It was redesigned after the test machines and is same on all models....

Jen told me a few days ago a couple weeks on jackets....so pretty soon!

Tilting in a multi-player game can cause the other player's score display to

the chance to play Chaos in Quantum City.

devices will kick when door is closed
* Turned on Test Report "dot" Paid Play preset

Coders On Fire!

Quoted from davijc02:That’s cool! Though I think a smoking jacket would be more badass
Quoted from RichieWrench:HEYS GUYS AND GALS...I GOT MY JACKET.....
COULD NOT WAIT TO GET MY PANTS ON.....
now...When is the steak and lobster dinner?
I need some sun on those legs.....
Richie - you NEVER fail to amuse my friend ! Please tell me those are running shorts or something and not your underwear...

underwear...i was so excited I told Debbie to just take the pics.
She told me that a package came in and it was from JJP and I said yeah...its a computer board for my W OZ that is broke...but when I saw the box...I said...that is no compu
ter board...so I opened it up like a kid at Christmas.
Very well made jackets.....
My only thing is that I would have powder coated the buttons......lol
YEP....UNDERWEAR.....
Quoted from Cserold:Lost a bet and currently on way to bar in this beauty.
I hope you're wearing more on your bottom half than Mr. Wrench is in the photo above yours.

Yeah, I got mine awhile ago...you might want get ahold of your distributor or tech support if you haven’t gotten them
Quoted from iceman44:Wow! Thankfully no jacket on the POTCCE
I heard we were getting a powder coated coin door instead
C’mon Iceman don’t get him started again if he ever actually stopped lol

Okay...I have learned my lesson.....But I really do feel that the doors need to be powder coated....it just does not make any sense to me.....
Legs...Powedercoated...
Shooter Housing Powder Coated.....
Rails......Powdercoated....
Hinges...Powdercoated....
But....NO...lets leave the door...because that would cost a couple hundred more.....
and Yes....
they should powercoat the bolts as well...
Now.....I am not starting up anything...I am just saying for what we all pay...I would lime to see the doors done....I would be shock that the majority would not want that done.
I know on my dialed In..I will be sending it to matt.to have the door and legs volts.done and maybe so.e other items...but ...
COME ON DICE OWNERS.......
WE NEED FOR ALL OF US TO TO STANDUP TO THIS FORM OF DICTATORSHIP AND SAY.......

I agree and to top it off I can't even get anybody to do my door as nobody knows the color other than Matt and I understand he is super busy and doesn't have time apparently as I haven't been able to get him to respond lately...looks out of place not having the coin door finished...but just my small opinion!

Powdercoated bolts are a Bad Idea. Done it, not recommended. Coin door powdercoating I can get behind, though. But if push comes to shove on making the CEs truly special, I'd rather have the direct printed cabinets like the ECLE on all the JJP CE to really make them desirable.

I agree with THAT
Quoted from sepins:The xtra code that is in CE...What is it???
Thanks!
Isn't it just CE-specific news crawl stories? Seems like I read that somewhere...
Quoted from sepins:Why is the additional code such a secret???
Probably more likely that it's minimal. If the xtra code were substantial, I'm sure it would be more talked about, not less...
