Does anyone know if it's a standard size or widebody? Hoping for standard. DI plays so nice and I'm glad they made the change there.

Quoted from CrazyLevi:Surprised they are going back to the widebody concept after DI but I guess that's what people want?
It's more likely that it was what was in development, I think we mostly want standard body machines.
It's a bummer the music from the film won't be used and perhaps video clips as well but the toys and rules can definitely outweigh it here.
I use pinballbrowser on my sterns, is there a similar program for JJP games? I'm not familiar with JJP much.
Anyone ever remove a head from a JJP? I put in an order today but thought about how I have to remove the head of every single pin to get it into my basement. Is this process fairly easy?
Quoted from brucipher:Per an inflation calculator I just pulled up, $1.00 (US) now is equal to about $1.70 in 1993.
I read on here that a normal NIB price for a pin in the 90s was about $3500 (not taking into account some of the clearance prices of the time), which would equal about $6000 now.
Just posting this as a reference .
That calculates inflation of material cost but does not factor technology and programming advancements.
Quoted from daudioguy:I can't speak to the licensing process as I don't do that. I am subject to what my client gets and doesn't get.
I know what the market wants. I will not violate copyright to get there. However there are lots of properties rhythm, orchestration, genre that are not copyrightable. So I call what I do 'channeling' where I create a new original piece that evokes the same kind of feeling as the work that inspired it.
This is my second rodeo on this genre. I did a lot of research the first time around. It is eleven years since I created that body of work. I am a much better writer and orchestrator than I was then.
The other thing to take into consideration is that the music is being created with pinball in mind. From any given soundtrack there are a lot of evocative tracks which are not suitable to be used behind pinball action or in an arcade.
It is just a little frustrating that no matter what I do it will be rejected because it is not the music from the film. I get it. I am a big fan of several of the Klaus Badelt music cues from the first movie.
JPOTC is turning out to be a great pinball game and I am trying to do it justice. I hope lots of players will have many enjoyable hours playing it.

Honestly David 95% of us think you are brilliant and your collective work is outstanding. You find a way to make scores more pinball friendly and all your work in machines feels smooth and finished.
