The more I see, the more I come away thinking this is one where it may actually be fun coming up with rules and strategies. Maybe the one pin that is more fun playing with others than alone. For families that is a great thing.

Game is gorgeous and I'd love to see one in the POTC souvenir shop in Disney World when you get off the ride. This looks to be a very special game.

I have to be honest. I really don't get the constant need to have "movie" footage in this game. It is a POTC "Themed" game. You are not playing the movie but a pinball machine that takes items, events, imagery, character profiles to build a game upon. The animations that already exist are probably the most attractive I have seen in any game. They server the game and immersion into the theme and game you are playing. The problem with most Stern games using full motion video is that they are so literal and repetitive that they are not really special.

As for the sound of the discs. The game volume is turned down pretty much on any video I've seen. I have yet to hear this game at a normal volume so that could be it.

It would be a blast to see this game have its launch party at Disney World.

Nope. It was getting old and boring to me. Mix it in with others but just that one was blah.

I find it interesting that this statement came from Eric and not Jack. Removing the discs was not a "tweak" it was an overhaul. The chest issue is also a bit frustrating. That seems like something that can be addressed. Fix it!

I understand the willingness to test games with the public and refine them, but JJP should not go public if past of this testing will result in major playfield features being removed.
