I recall prices for some games (MM, SC, MB CC, TOTAN) starting to climb to Woz preorder prices before JJP announced Woz at $6500.

I think when Jack saw people bought into those prices, he figured out what he could charge.

There is the economic term called opportunity cost. If they charge $6500 for a game that people will pay $3,000 more for, they are losing money.

You'd have to research to know at what point they lose sales by pricing too high, and only Neo seems to know this with certainty.

The biggest disappointment is the delay from revealing the game to shipping the game. Creating hype and then letting it all go stale is dumb.

They should announce and have the games ready to ship sooner.

The delay is the reason for this entire thread of speculation. People lose interest until the game is actually available to play, so all they can do is complain about the soundtrack

Unanticipated improvements are often integrated into later runs.

This game's excitement hype shot its wad almost a year ago.

It will now need a lot of actual game-play hype to match any excitement it achieved and lost months ago.

JJP took too long to produce it after the announcement.
