I heard they worked on the bond license really hard, but that the licensor had crazy rules like not using video assets and some other oddball requests. Hope they get it worked out because bond would be great.

The real shame is jjp has some really great licenses to choose from. I know there is two major titles that first, was replaced by the hobbit and the second, Pat didn't want to do. Not sure if it's a use or lose it kind of thing, but hopefully they still have them and we will see them in the future.

The biggest disappointment to me was James Bond. Apparently jjp went through the whole thing and got/getting the license, but one of the stipulations was no video assets were allowed to be used. Not sure if that is a problem between movie distributor and ip creator (i don't even know who created bond), but what a awesome theme not being used.

I have faith they will come out with some great themes, and after discounting dialed in so much, I'm sure they will knock whatever they get out of the park.

I've said it a few times, but JJP had the bond license locked in. The only issue was they couldn't get the video assets for the movies, which obviously made it pointless. My guess is maybe there was an issue with the bond IP holder, and the assets the movie companies own. A total shame.

I heard it from a pretty direct source, but it was more along the lines of "we can get the bond license, but they wouldn't let us use video assets which obviously makes it a nonstarter". This was also months ago, so hopefully they are making progress. I know I would be in for sure!

I agree, but the people saying toy story are semi correct, as that is the next one after potc. Let's hope they start pumping them out quickly.
