Glad I held off on SW. Very glad.
I'm selling my motorcycle. Where is the actual preorder page to put a deposit down?
This thread is on Flippin fire like I've never seen...just dipped into whole foods for a quick bite and came out to five pages of new posts...I think I'm in just based on that!
Well, this may hurry along that BM66 code.......congrats JJP and team. Nice to see passion, innovation, and a packed playfield again.
I can't wait to play it BUT I'm a HUGE pixar fan, I'm willing to hold out for a year if it means Toy Story is coming.
Seriously? 722 new posts since I last looked at this thread 18 hours ago??? Dang!!
Quoted from tbanthony:
JJP code 20% = Stern 100%
JJP is kicking Sterns ass.
This is the gods honest truth.
I have 9 Stern pins and one JJP (Woz) it's not even close.
I do love much about Stern pins but they are more suited when I could buy Met, TWD, Tron, IM for $4600-$4700 NIB that actually makes sense, but what the hell BM66 was $7700-$15,000 that doesn't make any sense at all. So you're saying BM66 SLE costs as much as 3 Stern pro (circa 2015 plus 3 Color DMDs)?
I like how they implemented some of my favorite toys / stuff from other titles...
JJP#4 POTC ... As Ed & the Barenaked Ladies would say: "It's All Been Done" but in a good way...
Is it just me.... but I noticed right away a few things that reminds me of various other Bally / William's games...
The Tilting upper playfield ... Indiana Jones Path of Adventure.
The Spinning Disc.... Williams Whirlwind / B. Fireball / Sega's Twister etc...
Left Whirlpool.... Williams White Water Whirlpool
Upper mini playfield ... Bally's Popeye boat area
The Chest ... Stern's Pirates chest combined with the couch lock on Simpsons
The spinning pirate, looks like they used for WOZ spinning house... except this time its more interactive with the physical ball.
