So where you going with this?
    -Mike

To buy for the enjoyment and never look forward in to brake even any more....lol

    Quoted from Mr68:

JJ is a solid citizen in my book so I assume you will back your play here.

Solid, not sure. Tell that to all who bought Woz. Then the Ruby Red came out!

Destroying the market for after sales!

Even a blind man can figure it out. Don't hate. Just accept.

    Quoted from Mr68:

Are you done editing your original post so we know how to respond.

    Nope. Carry on!

    Quoted from Soulrider911:

I'm totally confused on what this topic is about lol... There is plenty of profits to be had on HUO machines? Look at what Monster Bash and MM original HUO's sell for just to name two... Those things appreciated hugely.

MB is only in a demand now cuz of no remake news...

    Quoted from Wickerman2:

    invest in the stock market

I made some good investments in stock market. Carry on...next...

You can't start threads and then tell everyone to go jump in a lake when they respond to you. If you want to start a thread, which you appear to like doing here, be respectful to those that participate in the thread even if you don't necissarily like what they are saying.

Sorry. I see bunch of threads where fellow pinsiders are swearing and etc. at each other but I produce a thread in common since and I get bashed.. just wondering how the pinball world thinks about my common since.

radrog ahh my bad I got ya, but none of JJ games are remakes right? Only stern

WOZ RR isn't a remake. Think again my friend.

    Quoted from mskoenen:

So you're mad because companies are continuing to make popular products, only with different colors on them, and it causes you to not be able to make a profit off of a used version (albeit lightly used) because consumers would rather buy a brand new one for less money?

    Speaking for the general public.

Got a gut feeling this topic will go no where and be locked up.

Truth and common since go together.

Ahh, remember the old days when people bought toys to play with...for fun?

    Yes!

    Quoted from too-many-pins:

Pinball reminds me of Lionel Trains back in the late 1970's & early 1980's. New companies kept making remakes of original Lionel, Lionel was making remakes of their older stuff also. Prices kept climbing on both new and used trains and everyone thought it would never end.
Thankfully I saw what was coming and sold most of my collection in the early to mid 1980's for great money. Today you can't get 1/2 of what that stuff was bringing 40 years ago (without considering adjustments for inflation). I predict pinball prices will be doing the same thing sometime in the next 3 to 5 years!
As long as there are fools willing to pay the price companies will keep increasing their prices but at some point the bubble will pop. It is just a matter of how soon - not a matter of if it will happen.

Well said. Just as I was thinking!

    Quoted from Mr68:

Reissued games are and have been both company's stated business model since day one. Personally I don't care for it but its not a secret except to newbies.
LOTR, TSPP, Iron Man Vault Edition... WOZ RR was announced is 2013 and you're just now catching on?

    Yup.

.... this is fun! Ok. Ready now too be locked up!

    Quoted from Taxman:

If you want to make money from buying a pinball machine you need to have people put money in the coin door. Otherwise you are just playing a speculation game.

You do have a good track record for getting threads locked? Are you proud of that?

No. Just turns out that way!

    #45 6 years ago

A thread is where you have an opinions. Banned for my opinions?

    #46 6 years ago

I think I'll stay outta theads.

    Quoted from Mitch:

All you ever do is brag about what you have, why your better then others and now how your worried your toys arn't going up in value enough.

Thanks. Pinball needs better programmers to stay in long term business. Look at PS4. Think outside the box.... better programmers?

    #53 6 years ago
    Quoted from DaveH:

Well you are just being naive acting like this is something new. Stern has always done multiple runs of games. When the market needed more, another run fired up. It is only recently that we started to call them "Vault Editions". The market didn't scream and shout for them, it was just the free pinball economy running.

    Thanks. So true.

    #55 6 years ago

    Nope.

    #57 6 years ago
    Quoted from rvdv:

Its very simple, as long as we are willing to pay up $10K for used games
they will keep running re-runs till they see price levels are halve of that and stop
So when a MM or AFM is for sale used at $5K then they would not be so in a hurry to do a re-run
so figure any game doing around $10K will eventually be re-run
People in this hobby to make a quick couple thousand, think again.

    Thanks.

Nope! You are not a genuine person.
    Carry on.

    Quoted from rai:

Anyway as someone who was able to buy Tron and IM after they were re-run I'm glad and I don't care about AcDc being remade either more great pins is a good thing.

I some what agree. Just if the programmer's were better then this hobby will explode.

    #67 6 years ago
    Quoted from vdojaq:

Are we sure this isn't a re-born Cornelius?

Nope. Just a simple question with simple opinions in mind for answers.

    #68 6 years ago

No trolling on my thread please! Those who troll will be prosecuted to the law's full extent!
