Well you are just being naive acting like this is something new. Stern has always done multiple runs of games. When the market needed more, another run fired up. It is only recently that we started to call them "Vault Editions". The market didn't scream and shout for them, it was just the free pinball economy running.

Its very simple, as long as we are willing to pay up $10K for used games
they will keep running re-runs till they see price levels are halve of that and stop
So when a MM or AFM is for sale used at $5K then they would not be so in a hurry to do a re-run
so figure any game doing around $10K will eventually be re-run
People in this hobby to make a quick couple thousand, think again.
