I went to see the comedian Jim Jefferies on Saturday at the Keswick theater outside of Philadelphia. I am a big fan of his stand up and have seen him 3 times live. I have learned that he is a big pinball fan as well. He has mentioned it in interviews and on his cancelled FX show Legit. During his act on Saturday, Jim even said pinball first on the list of what he loves about America since he is actually Australian. I was able to meet him after the show and got to ask him which pinball machines he owns.

WCS94

WOZ

Spiderman

AC/DC

His comedy might not be for everyone but we can all appreciate his love for pinball.

Here is a pic of my gf, jim and I.

I've seen him quite a bit on the youtubes. I think he's a funny guy for sure. Cool that he's a lover of the pinny as well!

I used to hear him on Opie & Anthony all the time. Funny guy.

What no EM's ?

That's excellent! Dude has great taste in pins..

I love him and I miss Legit!

He got into an argument with some porn chick on O&A and said one of the meanest, funniest things I ever heard.

The new sanitized Pinside would definitely not approve! lol

Saw him in Reno last year. Hands down funniest show I have ever been to. Can't wait for him to return. Glad to hear he's a hug pin fan too.

I have seen him live and watched all of his specials. Great performer and comedy.... definitely offensive to some more prudish people. I was happy to find out he is a pinhead.

#9 8 years ago

If you watch his show, you can see some pinballs on his back porch (somewhere in season 1).

#10 8 years ago

I noticed those too. The game names are redacted though. I think one was pinbot.

Man he looks like hell in your picture.

Here he is with his son, playing his then recently acquired Spiderman.

He told a great story on the Nerdist podcast about when he was with some models and told them he wanted to get an eight ball, they ended up rather disappointed.

I loved his show Legit, sucks it got canned.

Huge fan of the guy since I first saw him live, everytime he was on O&A I was hoping for him to mention pinball. Brought it up a couple times!

He's the reason I got into pinball.

It was the May 29, 2013 Nerdist podcast - about two thirds of the way in, they get him talking about pinball. Great interview.

haha yeah he looks horrible in my pic. It was the last show before he got a break from the tour. I remember on the show Legit he got a big money contract and the first thing he did was buy a pinball on Ebay. Does anyone remember which one?

#16 8 years ago

The first season of Legit was really good, the second season not so much. His stand up is good though, it's a shame he isn't well known here in Australia but it's good he's had some success in America.

Don't know but I think I remember he had a pinbot and something else I can't recall in his backyard or something

He looks like he likes to party too! We have something else in common.

#19 8 years ago

Definitely parties.
