Quoted from Boatcat:You've actually described the '63 - '68 "Upgraded Cabinet" Era of single player Gtb's........'63, (Slick Chick, Sweethearts), '67, (Sing Along), and perhaps '68 Royal Guard, 4 more great 2" flipper games fit into this mold as well of what seems to be the multi-special sequence era, (something not seen for a few years prior). Your taste in EM pinball is excellent, IMO. This feature more or less tails off again with '68 Funland.
Royal Guard is a great game. I wish it had the jeweled posts. If you can get the specials lit on it, you can go to town, but sometimes it will totally mess with you. It alternates those fan targets above the slings and it always seems the side lit is the side the ball is on.
