I see a problem already! Look at this picture. Do you see anything different? Like leg and trim color.
Please find out why!
Maybe its the standard that is posted here?
Whoa! Nice! Thanks for sharing!
I would think it is a Prototype Hobbit, and not the actual production, so that's why the trim is silver?

Quoted from SilverBallz:Tata, relax, it's just a mockup to show the cab art. It's not a finished game.
True...True... But with the 75th coming out, It does make you wonder. Have fun. Wish I was there!
Looks like they addes some more inserts and moved some other ones around. I also see some kind of underground things maybe leading to or from the right inlane and left inlane, what do you think those are?
Quoted from Pinchroma:Yup and I counted 47 games leaving in the next day or so.
Still havn't gotten my call so I guess none are mine. Jack did tell me December. Still hoping for a christmas miracle.
Quoted from PinFun:Hobbit @ the factory open house...
That clearcoat looks pretty thick. Probably plays real fast!
Quoted from Chippewa-Pin:My distributor didn't order until June. I was recently told mine would be ready in January.
June what year?
Just asking cuz I ordered in May 2012 and was recently told December, only to find out that people who ordered a full year before me still have not got theirs and are now being told January. Pretty sure whenever someone calls for a delivery date, Jack just says "sometime in (insert approaching month here)"
I'm mid June 2011 and still have not been notified,
so you have a bit more of a wait I would gather.

I am June 19,no call yet but if production is running
we should be 2 or 3 weeks away.

Look like playfield slide rails to me.
I got back about an hour ago. It was a fun evening. Jack is very friendly and hospitable. The factory looks well setup and machines are clearly being cranked out, as evidenced by the wrapped pallets near the loading dock. I got a few games on the 75th anniversary machine and I do like the red better than the green. My scores were just abysmal, but we did enjoy watching others play who clearly knew what they were doing. The Hobbit cabinet art is nice and would look great next to my LOTR. T-Shirts were available for sale, although I wasn't a fan of the design. Too bad the polo shirts some staff members had were not for sale. It would have been nice to pick one of those up.

Any pictures of that ?

Quoted from lllvjr:Get me a few clear pf drawing pics
Agreed (adding the word 'please' though )
Quoted from solarvalue:Hey, I thought you said you weren't going!
I wasn't there. Doesn't mean I haven't played it.

Are they making any "Standard" machines or only "LEs" at the moment?
Every one I saw said ecle and there were no standards on the test line of 20 games. So I don't think so.

2014 it is then
Jack said over half of the LEs were done and shipped. They are focusing on the other half and he said a few standards will be made also, but mostly concentrating on finishing the LEs. He said they are able to make 12 a day now, so 60 a week if that helps you gauge where yours will be.
The factory was quite impressive and organized. There were a number of LEs off the line that were done and TESTING. He said customer games are all tested for a period of time before shipping.
Quoted from UKCatsFan76:Did anyone get to Battle the Witch on the new code?
Wondering what is involved in this mode
you have to get deep into the game to battle the witch. Games were very short with no ball saver. The highest score i saw was done by a very young boy, could not have been more than 10 yrs old, wound up putting his initials on the game. At one point he had a score of approx 105k and jumped to 195K in one shot...but we all could not see exactly how that occurred. Alex explained a few new additions, yellow brick rd will award a ball or points every 10 advances. Saw some new light shows, but again, to see some of the changes, need to have longer games.

So (the obvious question) when do we get to see our update?

June 2011. With over 500 'done and shipped' and they are making 60 per week (even if only 50 are LEs), we should all have ours by the end of February. I sure hope so. I'm sure Jack will be happy too. We'll probably see another cartwheel.

If I see mine by Feb I'll do a flipping cartwheel (and I couldn't do those before my back surgery)

I hope you get a video of it. Like the one Jack did when the first ones left the factory.

If it's here by feb I will. May not be the best cartwheel ever, but then again, neither was Jack's. Hell' I'll even do it in the snow.

I couldn't either, but after 2 back jobs I can do them now! (definitely not cause & effect though)
