Breaking News: I'm excited about this game (Hi Pat!). Yup, you heard it first on Pinside!

    Quoted from PanzerFreak:

I hope that JJP considers an LE or SE for Pats game in the 200-400 game range. 1000 and 1500 LE games isn't really limited.

I hope they consider a single model. One game to rule them... Oh, wrong quote.

    Quoted from MikeS:

I would love to see Lawlor use an LCD to create a pinball3000 machine.

    Pinball3000 already has a prototype by Rascal_H. Pre-order only:

The video of the prototype in action!

    Quoted from jwilson:

Good. WoZ is unplayable due to information overload from too many inserts and lights.

Because there is a lot going on, old man. Ha! I AM an old man, but Dude, that totally sounded like you were saying "Get off my lawn".

    Quoted from luvthatapex2:

Doubt it. All focus is on Hobbit. If you were JJP would you be talking about the next game when you are just about to release the current game? I would bet we won't hear anything about JJP #3 until expo in October.

I agree. I think (hope?) Jack will keep quiet on Pat's game until it is getting ready to hit the line. Maybe have some focus groups of special level headed people (Alrich comes to mind), to get good feedback on the art and features. Maybe invite a few players that are distinguished to give feedback.

And we all know the people I'm talking about. They are not the trolls, they are not the defenders. They are the ones above it all. The ones that give constructive feedback. That way when Pat's game (Hi Pat!) gets down to the mooks like me it is everything I want in a new game. I'm excited for the game, not the drama.

Aurich, I wish I could be as practical as you. I do agree that calling Pat's game a "must buy" is foolish at this point. However, the potential is still exciting to me. We have Pat on one hand (Hi Pat!), and the JJP platform on the other. So to me, just that makes it a "must look". My potential to buy is much higher just from who is involved.

And I agree with most people. Be ready to ship this one in a reasonable time frame after it is announced. A multi year wait isn't in the cards for me.
