Throwing money at a business does not necessarily make it efficient , profitable or solve issues other than capitol or cash flow problems.
The government has dumped millions / billions in some public market projects that are still upside down failures.

Money will buy them time but the business model of producing a machine to market in +12~24 months needs to change.
As much as I like to see new games produced from more than one source JJP is pricing themselves out of the market IMHO.

It sounds like grand re-opening / take #2 with the same unresolved delivery issues unresolved.

Down the road plans are great but its more credible if you deliver game #2 before plugging games #3 , #4 etc.

Given Stern produces multiple titles at the same time ( and delivers the same year ) I would cut them some slack on finalized coding.
Launching a new game platform takes internal resources as well but they still manage to produce multiple titles so hat off to them.

If Stern was not focused on making a profit they would be passing the hat and maybe pumping out one game every 2 years like their only competitor and its a distant competitor at that. Unless JJP's time to market improves they are toast IMHO.

If you don't think for a millisecond JJP is not focused on profits as well you are nuttier than squirrel dung.

The influx of funds buys him time & that's it.

If serious competition is another company that struggles to produce product and deliver it (measured in years) to a handful of customers willing to wait (years) your definition of competition is far different than most peoples. Struggling start up is more fitting IMHO.

The Cargument~

Tesla's is a nice idea but a joke that is HEAVILY subsidized at the state and federal level.
Nothing like letting tax payers subsidize a $7500 tax credit for a car that costs $70 Grand.
If you have 70 grand for a vehicle ( any ) you should not be getting a federal tax break for it.
