Quoted from shacklersrevenge:I’m saying it now, it is the greatest game of silver balls under glass.
...
In fact, it’s making me question wanting to play other games that aren’t like it- THAT is how good this game is.
...
The way this thing plays, is in a league of its own. It’s literally on the moon.
...
The thing makes the hair stand up on my arm, and the attention to detail will humble the hardest die hard fans. When that song kicks in, and starts ...
cranking the volume higher on its own... holy shit...
This is kind of like the location owner when we put jjPotC out at his pub. He came up to me when I came in the next day after I installed it raving about how it was the greatest pinball machine he had ever played and was almost unintelligible trying to string together superlatives and acting out explosions and sounds. To say he was blown away is a massive understatement. It was the first $1.50/play, 4 ball vend we had out, and it didn't slow the players one bit. It was #1 on the route until it was pulled just as COVID started.
After disc gate and trunk gate and everything else that went down, Eric and the team at JJP were robbed of a ton of awards that the game deserved because so few people got to play it before the awards (the MUSIC, especially, deserved ALL the awards). Given that buzzkill of a reception for a masterpiece delivered, I hoped that Eric could surpass it with his second effort - and he has.
Can't wait for his third pin. Hoping for things like a vari-target, inline drops on a ramp, and time expander-like assembly.
