Man, that one hurts...glad he made it to 78 years old, still playing great. I saw him with Stevie Ray Vaughan in Colorado in the 90s.

Sadly, we're at the age now where many of our favorite 60s and 70s rock stars will start dying. Most didn't exactly live a healthy life. Drugs and alcohol abuse take their toll. But most of all, it just sucks to get old.
