The latest Stern Facebook post makes me think that Jaws is indeed coming, and there are more than a few hints that DD will be doing the artwork. Sparky is obvious in the foreground, but those are all DD works in the background as well.
I like the hints via Facebook. If that's Jared, then I already like the direction Jared is taking their Facebook feed. More info, more photos, more updates.

Yep, Stern has definitely stepped up their social media communications. Good stuff. More communication is always a good thing with pinball companies. I would be very happy to see another machine with Donny's art. He has some awesome talent!

Jaws, thats pretty cool! Would love to see some older movies get new pinball machines. Another one that would have been awesome, would be Spielberg's first film, Duel. If you like Vanishing Point, go check out Duel on BluRay.

There's a video of bobble heads with an encrypted title, the translation of which is something like "The future is here for those who have eyes to see".
The far right is a partial view of the Jaws poster. It's visible at the beginning and ending of the video. Then the camera pans across a bunch of bobble heads including Sparky. In the background are several Dirty Donny pieces.

Generally, Stern doesn't seem to put out anything unless there is a recent property to go along with it.

Between that message which was deciphered "We're gonna need a bigger... facebook" along with actually seeing the JAWS poster in that video would really be a major tease if they didn't release JAWS. I can see them doing a dual shared layout between KISS / JAWS, as others said just like what they did for Family Guy / Shrek. I'm somewhat OK with that so long as a JAWS pin actually gets made. It would certainly be nice to see it have it's own layout / design, I thought for sure a subplayfield would be the inside of JAWS's mouth. It should have fins that pop up randomly on the playfield like in Monster Bash with the drac trac, just have a fin randomly popping up throughout the playfield. Clearly the multiball locks would need to incorporate the yellow rain barrels. Once you lite the jackpot, the phrase "Smile you son' of a bitch" so surely be a part of the game. I don't know how but they should also incorporate the "Chief Brody Vertigo" shot on the LCD screen in on the backglass.

I'm wondering about this too, but don't know his work other than on Metallica. Does he have other stuff online that looks less "cartoony" and more like the original Jaws poster artwork? I'd think if they're basing a game on the movie they'd want to go with that more realistic, beach novel cover style artwork. But a hand drawn Jaws would be sweet!

This reminds me of TWD! They (AMC) goofed & showed the pinball to be released in the same manner as this, prior to Sterns official announcement. This looks legit, Jaws pin looks to be a reality!

Jaws appeals more to me than KISS and since the layout looks cool I think that would be a great idea, I think it would be a huge way for stern to expand business while saving cost on R&R.

Is it impossible? No. Right studio, right film, right pitch it could be done. But it's definitely the way harder route, and honestly likely to be more expensive too.
Mondo operates on a very different level from making pinballs, the leeway they manage (with a lot of work on their end mind you) isn't always available for the kind of commercial product a pin is.

No doubt. A shark theme sure, he could draw art that would look like a sys11 and look really cool, but art drawn to mimic Jaws isn't really Jaws; doesn;t make sense.
Hand drawn art or not, Jaws would just be another irrelevant and outdated title IMO. Zzzz. Aside from barely seeing a bit of a Jaws sign at the beginning of the bobble head video, I don't see any other clue suggesting such. I hope they don't go that route personally. I can't see it doing well on route either.
I'm all about recycling but...personally I think it's ridiculous that Stern's trying to salvage all of those left over aftermarket / or accessory add ons. Take the Walking dead fish tank toppers as an example... These Jaws toppers are already on Marco's website !!! Geshhh I thought a simple shark fin would of sufficed !! Guess this also proves JAWS is on it's way!! ...let's hope this isn't just a fish tale

There seems to be a lot of buzz on Pinside for Stern to make a JAWS pinball and despite me not being interested in buying one, I think it would be cool. But, I can't see Stern dropping hints for it this early when they are about to release KISS and most people think Game of Thrones is the next game?
