Mine too. Who’s your dealer
Quoted from PanzerKraken:Thats Pinball Dudes in Jupiter FL
Yes it is. I counted at least 25 LE's. I guess we were some of the lucky ones.

They were supposed to get around 40 between yesterday and today. They are one of the largest Stern dealers in the country. They also only sell Stern NIB no other pinball brands except when they get trade-ins.
Our first batch of Jaws Pro plastics have shipped! Almost 2lbs of plastics in each kit and ~30 fasteners included. We've had some questions about "which" plastics come with the set... It pretty much covers all the horizontal plastics with the following exceptions: Fishing reel plastic, the 4x elevated "clear" plastics, and a little plastic on the left side that was impossible to add a layer to without creating other big problems. Now what everything is finalized (see photo) we probably will add a partial set for the pro well as a likely small price increase of the full pro set (after this weekend). No planned changes for the LE/Premium sets until they are finalized. We hopefully will have access to an LE in the coming days so we can finish those sets and start shipping them. EDIT: Order at https://pinside.com/pinball/market/shops/1167-gameroom-mods/10279-stern-jaws-plastic-protectors.

I'd be interested in these for the Jaws LE, what color are they?
Stern took my full payment for the LE. Wouldn’t you think they would have all the parts inventoried and ready if they do that.

They always take full payment up front from everyone for LEs.

I edited my original post to add a link to the product page. The colors are listed there. See https://pinside.com/pinball/market/shops/1167-gameroom-mods/10279-stern-jaws-plastic-protectors.
Quoted from 80sMan:Well that 'Bites'.
Hopefully the Pro's will stay on track.
Normal pros get built after the LEs and Premiums anyway. Don't see why they would be affected.
The LE I traded for was at Automated. Beckey emailed me an hour ago saying, "it will go out Mon or Tues at the latest". Crossing my fingers I'm one of the lucky ones that made it through without the delay.
Sorry if I missed it, but has anyone answered yet whether the LE armor is just flat white or if it has metallic flake in it?
Quoted from RoadQueen:Guess I got lucky and my LE arrived today before the delay. This game is beautiful! My Elwin monster collection is looking nice

Looks awesome. Can you tell me what the speaker lights are plugging into? I'm curious if it is a separate node board kind of like expression lights.

Sure someone said it’s just plain white

Hell of a collection. All you need is a Fish Tales.

The speaker lights use the expression system, so yes separate node board. Node 7 according to the manual.
My distributor said my LE shipped this morning so I guess I’m one lucky sob. Hoping to see it early next week. What number LE’s are people getting ?

Yes looks like a different node board. The light show is awesome!

Looks like the one from Bond 60th.
EDIT: It's not. Different part numbers.
My 3rd game and dirty pooled the ball by the shark and the boat went down and trapped it. I guess the shark did try to eat the ball
Ball search took care of it
Quoted from kermit24:I found a nice little nugget in the manual. If I am reading this right, looks like they will offer 2 toppers for this game:[quoted image]
Elwin in a podcast somewhere said that two different toppers were approved by the licensor.

I'm hoping there's a way to add the expression speaker lighting to a premium. I wonder if you can buy the node board, connect it and then use the new PinWoofer PixiWav Expression Lighting Speaker Kit - if Stern doesn't offer as an accessory. With Stern's track record though it'll be 2 years before they're available if they do lol.
Interesting. I’m guessing a flat plastic “billboard” topper for like $750 and a motorized “shark attack” for like $1500?
I wonder if they add modes
Quoted from TreyBo69:Interesting. I’m guessing a flat plastic “billboard” topper for like $1000 and a motorized “shark attack” for like $2000?
Will the topper eat the ball?
Looks like they left the ball eating shark out of the game. Lol played the game for over three weeks. Unfortunately it’s a real bummer. I have one on order but I’m going cancel. So disappointing. Stern is also gotten really cheap with their games. It might cost them maybe 2500 to make this thing
Quoted from Bmanpin:Just got this from my distro:
Unfortunately, we are having to shift our production line, and begin JAWS Premium this weekend (beginning with Export games). We had a delay in an LE-specific part and had to halt production. At this time, it’s unknown whether or not we’ll finish the entire JAWS Premium build before going back into the JAWS LE.
I'm banking that our quoted April deliveries down here in Aus now blow out into May. I guess I'll have to ask the distributor on Monday to be sure.
Quoted from calprog:Looks like they left the ball eating shark out of the game.
My distributor, Next Level just called, half his order ships Monday, other half after the parts delay. Lucky me, mine is in first half! Can't recommend this place highly enough, great people.

Why are you in this group then?? GTFO hoser! We don’t want you here.

Same thing happened to me during my first game on a premium! I was thinking, “Oh shit, I broke this thing already!” But when ball save kicked in and the shark puked up the ball I started laughing because he really does eat the ball if you time it right.
Calling all ‘first run’ LE owners. Shoot us your opinion, good and bad, on LE if you’ve played the Pro also. Love to know how the differences feel. You know, since I’m probably another month away from mine.
I’m jones-ing here man….just a taste man…
So the good news is I got my LE today. It’s gorgeous and plays like “TWD meets Elwin”. The bad news is I’ve had several issues I’m trying to figure out. First, the three light house targets in the back are causing massive airballs. Nearly every time one is hit. I’m currently on a 6.85 degree pitch. Next, I am getting airballs about 20% of the time I hit the fishing reel. The ball jumps up behind it. Sometimes even onto the back wire form. And finally the fishing reel rarely feeds the small right flipper. On a fast clean shot it will go around and then hit the reel entrance and bounce back towards the middle of the playfield. Before I start deconstructing and reassembling I wanted to check and see if anyone else has tackled similar issues. Thanks!

I am in the same boat.. I need a flip on anyone of them now.

I’ve played 30 games on a Pro on location and have a ton of fun…but the air balls are consistent when shooting for the reel. I’ve launched the ball completely over the reel shot, on top of the plastic just below the shark, and virtually everywhere in that corner. Just another element of challenge IMO! But, seriously it’s going to break something eventually.

swinks sells a bracket that substantially reduces airballs. It's pricey, but it works. Turning down your flipper power will also help, but then you're limiting the time the flippers will have the power to get up the ramps before fade hits.
It was discussed in the Jaws hype thread here:
