Took the kids to see Jaws on the big screen at Epic Theater in St. Augustine tonight. Still holds up great after all these years, and it was the first time I’ve ever seen it on the big screen as I was just 3 years old when it came out. It definitely has a different feel seeing it in a theater. Long live Jaws.

Anyone ever has beaten a mode in the 2nd playthrough called "challange" where you only have 30 sec to beat it?
I think the timer is way too hard and I never have beaten one of those. Maybe with the Oxygen enhance the timer here? What's your strategy?
Also anyone wants to share their average scoring and GC? Most games I'm about 1-2 Bil with a GC at 5.8 Bil.
The scoring is getting crazy, one you collect multiple sharks, having unlimited fliplocks with 2x great game!

Naw custom modes are reserved for the 2k toppers lol.

Hand crafted, molded and cast in a bright blue aqua resin to match the playfield and sculpted with all the minute details of the shark attack! Time stands still for that horrific scene, as it did that night for Chrissie as she hung onto buoy #8 in her final moments. See the ocean churn and wake as Bruce cuts through the waters surface for the attack... Chrissie trying frantically to get to the safety of the buoy in a final attempt to save her life... her feet dangling in the depths below, desperate to stay afloat...

Its crazy that theres 6 balls...i cant hit anything when theres 4 balls in play...playfield gets crowded quickly

Unfortunately I need to do this every time I see the error, which is almost daily.

I got this error days after receiving the machine. I left the game on overnight and have not seen it since.

Been there, done that. Stern sent out a replacement SD card, same results

I’ve worked with Stern service many times regarding other games, usually with resolutions, this one in particular is ‘just wait’ and it will fix itself, total BS. Tonight I waited an hour, still never cleared. This needs to be resolved

I've had that error 2 times, both times I went into the settings menu and made 1 slight change and saved it. It could be anything, when I backed back out to the game the error was gone immediately.

Get your own SD card and re flash it. Make sure it’s a class 10

Any ideas where this came from? Weirdly it doesn’t feel rough on the edges (so maybe didn’t break off another part?)

How many premium owners have done white powder coat on their armor?

I honestly don't like the art on my cab (hated the translite - thank goodness the pro one was available to get) but not going to move to the LE though.

I agree, the Premium translite was a mess. I too switched it for the iconic Jaws poster translite. I ordered the white powder coating from Pinball Life and it arrives tomorrow. I think the white is a great look and am looking forward to swapping it out.

Looks like a piece from the clear laminate Stern placeless over the playfield. Once laminated it is stamped out with a programed machine then game piece is inserted in that stamped out slot. I think this is a piece they missed in the box cleaning up.

I think the black armor looks slightly better than the white. I may go to the classic translight as well.

Honestly if Pro cabinet decals become available I can say I may very well put them on my Premium cabinet.

I won a Pro translite at a tournament recently (well, full disclosure, I won a pair of Stern sweatpants, that I traded to the guy who won the translite, since he already had one) and swapped that into my Premium. My son likes the Premium one better, but he got out-voted since my wife and I like the classic poster design better. The Premium translite is fun and well-drawn, cool last-moments-of-Quint-in-first-person ... but the classic poster art seems more appropriate -- it's probably one of the most iconic book covers / movie posters in history, so it needs to be on this machine.

The premiums translite isn’t bad but I think anyone who is a fan of the movie will hands down choose the Pro\LE. Those who don’t know the movie seem to like the premium lol

Does anyone know how to get the BeachClosed-Just in Time achievement? It says close a Beach within 1 minute. I have closed it as soon as it was open and still haven't gotten the achievement. I guess I am not understanding the objective, but close it within 1 min and immediately closing it should qualify?

Yes it was! Big tournament too, 57 players. I put up one of my best performances ever, finished 3rd in the 12 game qualifier and then survived til the 14th round of the Amazing Race finals, finishing 3rd overall. It was a long & grueling affair, and I reeled in 32 WPPRs for it.

They may have released a dud! I have tried and failed 2x updates now. Downloads and validates just fine, but when I click "install 0.92 now", The game just sits there for a few seconds and then reboots to 0.91

Jaws is one of my favorite movies and I love the Premium cab/art package all round. Give me a new perspective on a thing I love > copy/paste and repackage it to me forever

After a hard reboot it seems to be updating....

Just speculating, but I'm guessing this is lighting and rescuing all 3 beachgoers and then closing the beach all within 60 seconds.

Cool patch notes, I like the tweaks to Quint's Shack mystery. To be honest, I had no idea the old rewards even existed; assume they were just placeholders until such time that they could introduce better rewards.

We had gone because I wanted to try some pins I hadn't played yet and my family was going to bowl. I get there and the place is packed, had no idea what was going on. After I was able to try Labyrinth, the first game I wanted was Star Wars, I scan in, tap the free play card, and my hand hits a sign instead of a button to start saying it was "reserved for the tournament". A bit of a panic, I go in search of the other games I wanted to try. Rush "reserved", GotG "reserved", Foo (though I have one I wanted some green achievements) "reserved". I asked someone behind the counter if this was every Saturday "no", any idea when it would end "probably about 8pm or 9pm"! It was a bit of a let down, not being able to play the stuff that I'd gone to play, but my own fault for not knowing a tournament was going on !

I’m with you on that too. I love the premium translite. It’s such an iconic scene in the movie and I prefer it over just a recreation of the movie poster. It’s cool there’s multiple options for people to choose from though.

Same here. It was the “action shot” aspect of the BG I liked. It conveys tension even better than the movie poster. Don’t get me wrong i LOVE the movie poster. I just don’t need it re-created on the BG since I have it on the backbox sides. I am emotionally attached and am old enough to have seen the first 2 movies when they came out(at the drive-in no less). I was 6 when Jaws came out lol. My parents were cool enough to let me see it (or were too cheap to get a baby sitter lol).

Agreed. I don't care for the white. I had a pro translite before my Premium even arrived. Swapping it in was the first mod I did.

Same here, this definitely is a dream theme for me and love everything about this game and it just clicks for me. I thought about the LE as this will be in my collection until I am gone, but just couldn’t justify the price this time and since all the upgrades (except back glass, foil artwork and art blades) are available to buy, I went with the Premium as that one has Brody (sort of) on the cabinet and he deserves to be on this machine. I also went with a Pro translite.
