Quoted from Joshhardy23:

I thought it would be fun to do Jaws eating the ball as a shooter rod Still working on the sculpt but once I make one and get it painted Ill post photos and get it up in my shop.

That is actually perfect - it’s half joking because of the debate over why jaws doesn’t eat the ball in the game

ok... that made me laugh!

Be cool if you had an actual pinball in the mouth.

Great to see so much action in the mod thread, some incredible talent and ideas already being bounced about.

We're going to be doing a roundup (and takedown?) of everything that has been announced so far on the stream tonight, and also take a look at what other opportunities there might be for the intrepid mod maker. What's your thoughts on the ball eating mod? The caged Bruce? The fricken TOOBIN' GARY? Jump on the chat and bandy about your hopes, ideas and dreams. We will make them a reality!

Toobin' and streamin' at 5pm ET / 10PM GMT

Doing some last minute touchups before the final versions print tonight! Davey and Rob mentioned them on "In Before the Lock" tonight so I'm going to go ahead and make these available in our store in just a few days.

This is a view YOU NEVER want to see in person!

Not ready yet, so no pics, but I should have a 4-piece silhouette topper available sometime in February.

I have the Jaws glass covers available in my Pinside store now for $50 plus shipping. Great way to protect your investment and makes the game look even better when not in use. Two different designs available. Cheers.

How does your cover protect the playfield from dust?

I believe the glass will keep the dust off your playfield

Technically speaking dust gets on the glass so instead of dust getting on glass you just dust the protector lmfao kinda silly IMO. Either way invest in a good duster.

Yeah I understand the glass protects the playfield. This tool selling glass covers markets them for protecting your playfield from dust. I am wondering why he claims that the cover protects the playfield from dust. The ad is quite misleading and for such an expensive unlicensed product it's absurd.

IMO pinball machines are pieces of art & shouldn't be under a tarp hidden.

Revised to center line pivot mechanism with remote solenoid. I need the machine to complete, but this looks like the one to go with. There will be a front strut support arm to stabilize it. This set up is just the testing setup.

Have to have Brody with binoculars and could use a few more inches-seems to be plenty of room under glass still(may increase scaling?).

I’d recommend not adding any figures to the tower. It’s tough to paint 3D printed people without them looking like melted crayon blowup dolls.

Love where this is going, nice work. Saw the video too, will this be actuated with the captive ball? If you can get that working in the pro, you'll make $$$ from this mod.

Thanks for the comment, it will be actuated by the ball. I really need the machine to complete the idea, but its doable. I am ok if this is just for myself, I am not chasing mod money, only making things I want to do artistically. I am currently looking at articulating the mouth now and adding flashers. I started posting back on pinside as its the only way my work shows up on google searches. Instagram is great, but the work I post on it does not come up on google… @ loganpinball on instagram I post everything, good or bad over there.

That sculpt is quite cartoony to begin with.

Scale is your enemy on this one Tom, if you can move the tower to the back of the playfield and make it taller and bigger in scale it will help. There are a couple of ideas and things I had to implement into my Bond Scuba Sculpt to get that to work, drop me a pm if your curious mate.

I have the decal for the can, using a version of it for our beer can mod. I think we can adapt it to a pingulp. I’ll try one later today.
