Was burned by Andrew Heighway. Thought I’d not preorder again. (Foolishly?) I did.
Starting to get a sinking feeling. Need an update, hopefully not involving “2 weeks”.
Throw us a bone Haggis.
Ok. Starting to become impatient.
Haggis, we need some kind of substantial update about the production schedule for fathom.
As a mermaid edition “preorderer”, I’d sure appreciate communication. It doesn’t have to occur on Pinside. Crickets aren’t acceptable, given how far behind schedule you are.
Pull it together. Let us know what is going on. Showing me how you make one small part for the playfield isn’t going to cut it at this point. COVID isn’t a viable excuse for lack of an update. Email us. Do something.
I am not the only one who is feeling neglected.
It’s not hard. Just tell us what is going on. Not too much to ask, really. Some might call it common courtesy.
Quoted from Micky:An update for you guys that aren't on Facebook.

This update? It was 53 days ago.
Any reason Haggis can’t send us an email explaining what is going on? Stop with the COVID excuses. We deserve to know. We are funding the company.
I was very enthusiastic about the Fathom remake. Now, less so.
If anyone want to buy my preorder spot, I am willing to listen. This whole thing is staring to remind me of Heighway Pinball. Celts = Full Throttle?
Man, I must have missed the Kool aid party some here apparently attended. I’m not sure if there are Haggis employees posting in this thread, or just some who are just that enthusiastic.
I don’t care if the manufacturer is Australian or from Atlantis. No nationality is more or less likely to produce a pinball game or an air conditioner. Stop with the jingoistic responses.
What the hell is going on? That’s what we want to know. Tell us. And no, I won’t be quiet about it. We have been patient enough.
Quoted from punkin:Be funny if they only ship the first container to people who have not called their integrity into question.
I’d guess they’ll ship to everyone who paid for it. You know, like every other business.
This is truly through the looking glass. Sold my spot, so no vested interest.
Why not share whatever information you get about the game with those in the same boat? At the very least, it seems mean. At worst . . . well, you know.
Wow. Hard to believe that all these have not been manufactured and delivered yet. How long did it take from conception to execution to put a man on the moon? Maybe 3 years? Oh wait, COVID. Yeah, that’s it.
As someone who was once in, got spooked, and bailed, I truly hope you all get your games.
If you take time to read through this thread and tally up the missed deadlines, lack of communication, delayed shipments, and altered parameters (supposedly Mermaid only code now available to all), it is depressing.
I support those who will exert any meager influence they have, by publicly exposing this, to get their games (which have been paid for, partially or fully).
Sad.
Your apprehension is wise. Continue to be wary. Read the history of what has transpired. I would advise making any further payments with a credit card so that you have recourse, if needed.
