Quoted from punkin:Same thing mate, you are drawing distinctions that don't legally exist. The words apply the same in both cases.
Haggis are not contracted in any way to provide anyone with video updates, or any update.
Doesn't matter if you have sent them money, the money was for a pinball machine, not a series of videos.
Your key line here that makes it incredibly obvious is "is that many of us believe that if we pay for a product, and do not receive that product within the expected timeframe, we are entitled to an update. We are owed an explanation of why the product is late and/or an updated delivery window".
Many of us BELIEVE WE ARE ENTITLED.
My exact point.

Are people arguing that Haggis MUST provide updates to their buyers? I know I never said that Haggis was LEGALLY obligated to provide updates, nor do I ever remember Haggis saying that they would provide timely updates in any of the website or email language when I bought a game. I mean if they specifically said that they would provide updates, then you wouldn't have a leg to stand on, so to speak.
I think I was pretty clear in my previous post; I acknowledged then, as I do now, that you don't feel buyers of a product are owed ANY updates whatsoever, even when the product is very late. They are only owed the product. Okay, so what? It's not wrong for a buyer to want an update when a product they paid money for is not delivered on time. Especially, when the seller was previously very forthcoming with information. But whatever, you are in your own world with this one. I've said more than enough on the subject.

Either way, I was never one of the impatient ones. I'm in no particular rush to get my Fathom, and am looking forward to seeing the first games get delivered soon. I think that projector is awesome, and that combined with how spectacular the game looks, will draw a lot of attention on location. My game will going straight to our local Pinball Room when it gets delivered.
