Quoted from Zukram:

We reported display issues as well, and have word that there is work being done to correct this, and should have a software patch coming soon. Both for the score/segment displays, and occasional in apron screen blanking/resets..

Yes I have had some occasional apron screen blanking resets. I’d also say the 2.0 code should add a bit more on what to do in each multi-ball. When you start a mermaid battle it doesn’t say what you have to hit and I believe it should light things up red to display this but it’s currently not in there. The health of the mermaids could be reduced some as well, maybe 25%.

Well that mode is also a bit buggy as far as scoring goes, like draining the ball early in the mode (after ball save) will get you a million points or so.. Completing the mode, if you can, maybe a couple hundred k ..

Quoted from Zukram:

Folks with a Fathom, can you look to see how the wires to this coil are routed on the large bank of drop targets. Found where I think caused our first short, there was a small spot of insulation worn that somehow we did not see until last night. The wear was just near the lower coil in the picture, maybe where it was ziptied to the mech or possibly had a chance of getting caught by the mech movement itself. Unfortunately I had no other pictures of how it was ziptied or routed, but might be worth a look to see if you might have the same situation.. Our game got quite a few plays the first couple weeks it was on the floor..[quoted image]

Here are a few pictures of mine. Let me know if this helps.

Took some pictures of the apron rules for 2.0 in case anyone was looking for it.

Thank you it does.. I'm pretty certain mine doesnt have the two black plastic tie down things in that area, and the wire was firmly zip tied to the mech itself.. Maybe the vibration of that mech when it resets eventually caused the short. So looks like they changed that sometime after my build to yours..

Quoted from PoMC:

The latest Slam Tilt podcast, Bruce stated they have one at the place and it's been a lot of problems. Fuses blowing and not able to troubleshoot easily without schematics or documentation. Anyone else having any issues at all?

No big issues that kill gameplay or affect coins going in.
A few small bugs in the code that should get sorted out eventually.
Displays constantly go blank during a game.
Lost all sound once - it blew a fuse, hasn't happened again so no clue why. The game wouldn't boot after replacing the fuse, but something must have come loose while in there as after reseating all connectors and fuses it was back to normal....

I hope they fix the code to make shot selection easier. It's the one thing i hate about my Celts.

I never know what i'm suppossed to be doing, therefore i never play it, and neither does anyone else here unless they have to in comp.
It's always greeted with groans and comments of i hate that fucking thing, and that's the entire reason.

Agreed. They need to use the inserts to show what to shoot for in certain modes.

That would make sense to me.

paid my balance...... 8 more weeks.

Quoted from Rjbdmdmd:

These games should really start filing out the door now in the three months or so leading up to Christmas.

#5562 1 year ago

Paid mine too, they told me 8 weeks. Cool.

#5563 1 year ago

I'll be at 8 weeks this coming Monday. I didn't plan to see it in time, but will be reaching out then for an update. Hopefully a flood of games start showing up. Excited to get mine for sure.

#5564 1 year ago
Quoted from paulbaptiste:

Hopefully a flood of games start showing up.

Now that they are hitting their stride on production, it would make sense that output ramps up a bit. Hopefully they can maintain enough parts supplied to keep the finished games rolling out! Slowly but surely is infinitely better than not at all. Good luck on your game.

I'm 3 weeks in now from having paid. Reckon I'll see Bond LE well before Fathom though...

Hate to burst everyone’s bubble but I’m on week 14 now since payment was rendered in full.

It took me around 22 so keep the faith. Hopefully it starts improving. The game is amazing so it’s worth the wait.

Played Fathom at Newcastle Pinfest, it’s amazingly beautiful. It’s correct that the photos just don’t to it justice.
Going back today to have another play and take some pictures

That’s awesome! Planting seeds for the future. I hope Haggis can continue to reintroduce classics for the next generation of pinball enthusiasts.

I also played Fathom today at Newcastle Pinfest & Spinal Tap too

#5572 1 year ago

What a beautiful game. I had seen the prototype before before but this was the first time I played it in person. I'm sure I could have played it for hours. So well made with such a beautiful light show. It just oozes quality. I'm sure everyone who has one on order will love it when they receive it.

This is Fathom I'm talking about...

Quoted from Screwloose:

Were the Spinal Tap flippers really as lazy as they looked in a vid i saw?? Heard i few reasons why they might have appeared so but would be interested to hear from someone who actually played it.

I haven't seen the video. I can't say they were noticeably lazy. I was making shots ok. Only one of the 2 machines was running

I plunged my third ball on Spinal Tap.
It felt like a toy.

Fathom was beautiful. I had one game with the Haggis boys and one with a couple of other guys. The sounds are incredible, the spinner makes a cracker of a noise. The game is as beautiful as Celts and the attention to detail screams.

There is not a better presented pinball that i have seen from any manufacturer.

Here's a pic of their 'competition'. Taken at just the right time while the machine was working.

I heard the back box screen just plays movie clips with no game info. Laughable

Edit. I never bothered to look at it before but I see it has a dmd and a back box screen? Or is that just a translite?

Just received my invoice (I'm order #232).

Is anyone doing container shipping? That would be my preference for the $ savings, but don't want to wait an extra six months either. Luckily, I have some time to think about it.

I’ll probably go ocean, order 105

If you're invoice #105, then I'm a bit surprised to have been billed already at #232. But hopefully it's all good, looking forward to getting this. And USD to AUD seems really good right now.

From that side....

I buy in USD and sell in AUD

Quoted from Travahontas:

Gotfrogs what’s your number?

My machine number is 242 but my order/invoice number was 336 (I assume out of all Haggis sales to date). I have no idea where this puts me in line but I would guess near the way back!

#5588 1 year ago

Email from Haggis mentioned a 40' container, so if my math is right that's a max of 45 boxed pins (hope it's less). I'll have to ask them when my machine is ready, how many are reserved for a container, and make a decision then.

Received my payoff notification this morning.

Staying with container option.

They certainly are aren’t they! How many haves have that effect on people? Haggis took what is arguably the most beautiful game in pinball and found a way to make it even more gorgeous. That in itself is incredible.

So given the positive feedback with regards to the build of the game maybe Haggis need to up the LEs for Centaur (if thats the next game) to 1000?

Not sure if they’ll up the quantity (they should) but they’ll definitely have to up the price.
