Tough job, bit of a balancing act, but I'm sure Jared will do great. Smart of Stern to hire from the community, get someone who understands us really well.
He's not always going to be able to make everyone happy, so just remember that he's got a job to do, don't get mad at him if he's not able to be the perfect answer to every frustration you might have.

Jared knows pinball, and he also knows the social game very well. Where this will be of greatest benefit for all of us, is that he also understands how to walk the very-difficult-to-discern line that is between a business and its fans/customers.
Stern has finally realized how important this space is, and has activated an excellent solution to become successful in it.
Are we going to like everything Jared has to say? Nope. But at least now we know that Stern is actively listening to us.

I'm just glad to finally have someone in the drivers seat who I think understands the wants/needs/feelings of their customers a little more.
