I have a tendency of going into pinball places with my headphones on.
I'll be listening to some Industrial or Metal, sometimes new wave shit.
Metal like Redemption during Spider-Man helps.
New Wave like New Order during Tron helps.
KMFDM, PWEI, Iron Maiden, Dream Theater are bands I've listened to a lot while playing.

Why wouldn't you just listen to Daft Punk?

Second worst call I have seen on the boards in a long time. Daft Punk is all you need.

What was the worst, or dare I ask?

Listening to Fugazi while playing Farfalla.

    As for the thread,
I listen to headphones at expo's only. In an arcade setting though, I like to hear the atmosphere- weird I know...

Not unless you're in the waiting room.

No thanks, same song over and over and over again? no thanks.
Daft Punk is ok, I dig their early work and the music for the movie was decent.

    P.S.
I'm talking about playing games on locations where you its basically
just a bunch of video game noises in the background anyways.
In houses where you can hear the game I just play the game.

I tried it tonight just because I was doing some other stuff and felt little a total tool.

During tournaments it takes the edge off and silences some of the louder spectators.
