You can install any Jamma pcb board into a Jamma cabinet/harness. So if you have a Simpsons cabinet you can plug TMNT into it and it'll work fine with all 4 players. You could even plug Street fighter 2 into it but you wouldn't be able to use all the moves since each player only has 2 buttons and player 3 and 4 wouldn't work. The 4 player cabinets have 2 small extra connectors that plugs into 2 special spots on 4 player boards. So if you get a programmable board it'll need those extra spots to plug into. I have a 2000+ Game board in my Jamma cabinet and it has the extra spots for the plugs.

Here's a four player Jamma board. The left bottom corner shows the extra spots for the connectors to make the 3rd and 4th player work.

Quoted from Coyote:

The extra connectors are usually referred to as "kick" harnesses, and unlike the JAMMA harness, there is no standard between manufacturers.

That's right Turtles and Simpsons have the longer connector for the extra players where Wrestlefest uses a smaller molex pinball style. So check to see what hook ups your programable board has.

This is the one I have ebay.com link: itm

Plays 2100 games and can be set up for 3 or 4 players. You'll just have to get an adapter to plug it in if your cabinet doesn't have the correct kick harness
