First off you do amazing work! Any chance you could make another version with more action scenes? I was planning to design a translite but don't have your mad skills. Some of these images would be nice to have.
I may try to do a version that also includes some Roger Moore scenes as he was my favourite Bond (with Connery) and he made some of the better films IMO.

This may be helpful. I used this strategy on my Godzilla. Seemed to fix the problem. Just be careful not to make marks on the side blade area. Better to do this before installing any sideblades. A cloth around the brush may protect the wood.

I love the Moore movie the most so have to include those. I do plan to powder coat my game red so it will match the translite and the red trim on the head.
Just finished my Rush sign project and now starting on a James Bond topper idea. Not looking to spend $1k on the Stern topper, when it eventually comes out. It would be made from wood and each piece is hand carved and painted (I attached a photo so you can see the type of material used). Thoughts on the design? Was thinking of also lighting up the white circle area from the back. Thanks for the help.

Has another come across this footage in the game yet? Little Nellie mode, Power Pack, Aston Martin, hunted helicopter. There seem to be over 1,100 video segments in the code already so likely every major scene from every Connery movie is covered.

These images were taken from the Premium code. If anyone wants to look through the code videos (there are a lot), then the $20 investment in Pinball Browser is definitely worth it.
Would someone with a Premium or LE be able to post some photos of the back of the jetpack Bond for me? Getting one made for my Pro and trying to match the colors. Thanks for the help!

Pinball Browser is your friend Likely a lot of people will add Connery lines from the various movies once the code is close to final. Assuming it doesn't get added by Stern at some point. There are probably a few lines that won't make the cut as likely taboo these days.

You get the moving Jetpack figure, that carries the ball and the underground scene that lights up and the dragon tank. You can buy a jetpack Bond (doesn't move though), dragon tank and likely someone will start selling the underwater scene very soon. I would go Pro and save some $$$. Also, I hate the sideblades on the LE, rather have a choice personally.

There are three choices for dimming the backglass, during game play, in atract mode and during settings mode.

I hate the fact the FF game seems to have a lot going on at the sides of the display but Bond has the point bubbles, and that's it. They need to get cracking on this code!

Still waiting for the code to develop before adding some extra music for modes etc. I know LaLD is not a Connery film but I love that tune.

I didn’t refund him.
I can offer discounts to operators or distributors if they buy more than 2 of my translites at a time. I have a few distributors that have bought a bunch to offer to clients when they purchase the game. Also operators like the alternative translites a lot better as the customers don't really know who Dr No. is but recognize Connery/Moore images and the 007 logo a lot easier.

Does anyone update their code with an sd card versus the USB route? It takes a bit longer to create the sd card, but when you put it in the game, the code updates automatically, no long wait times waiting for the game to update the code. Although with the USB update, I think you retain the high scores, which I think would be reset with the SD card method.

The corgi version works just fine in the pro model that doesn't have the leaf switch in the tank, pretty easy, buy the $10-20 toy and invest 15-20 minutes to mount a few LEDs and call it a day! But for the Prem/LE model It only takes 2 seconds to see that modification and fitment in the cast tank is simply impossible.... the hood is several degrees off what the leaf switch plate needs and the turret is no where's near the depth or width for the leaf switch. No need to use a mic to measure it when the eye can see there's just no way... unless you want to redesign the leaf switch mounting bracket and change the angles and flow.

I think you have to find a balance between price and demand when pricing the mod. Don't recall seeing another mod in this price range before and it is close to the cost of some of the Stern toppers. I spent a lot of money on getting a graphic designer to help with the design of my Bond translites, but I know I can't charge $200 for the translites as the market will not dictate it. So maybe I have to sell 10 translites, just to recover the cost of design time, testing samples for color, fitting, etc. Something to consider. If you can sell a lot more at a lesser price, you may end up benefitting in the long run.

- do something about the attract mode screens, black screens with the scores just doesn't cut it. If you can use film images during game play, there can't be copyright issues with using some still images in attract mode.
- the main screen during game play really needs to be improved. Add some simple graphics or additional game features to the main screen. Rush is a good example of what is possible

I also added (I do this on all of my Spike 2 pins) a good pair of car audio speakers in the backbox. (JLAudio in this case) I use the Pinsound Spike 2 adapter and connect the backbox speakers to a 2x300W amp and run the subwoofer out to an external Klipsch 12" 400W sub.
Fantastic sound can be had from a Spike 2 pin.

Pinball Browser won’t work on the current code so will likely be a while before any alternative versions of the code are released. Personally, I like to change up some of the music but won’t bother until the code is closer to final and PB has caught up.

Still very disappointed with the main screen and all of the area that is not being utilized with anything. Either fill it with some logos, etc. or find a way to incorporate it into the game play. Rush is a great example of what can be done with this extra area on the main screen.
