Got my pro today, "game validation error, update SD card" once I exited the initial setup screen. Reading the thread it seems one of the solutions is to just leave the machine on in attract for a while and it might/should clear. If it doesn't clear in a few hours I'll shut it off and re-seat the cards and power it up again.

edit: Took about 2-3 hours and the error went away. Leaving this here for the next person who has this problem.

I really try to take the "it'll all work out in the end" path with nearly every pinball problem, and this will work out in the end as well, but we're really getting our noses rubbed in it when the week old game is up and dancing with 0.90 while the 7 month old game is passed out under the covers like me on Sunday morning with 0.87.

Not even asking for amazing new features, just a balanced and somewhat complete game after 7 mos. That would be neat.

Haha. Couldn't go to the supermarket in the '90s and get between your car and the entrance without a van back door opening and a speaker salesman inside. I bought a pair too. Didn't sound too bad.

Nothing except clogging up tech support for people who need it.
