I have the PBL version in both my GZ and Bond and they work great. The Stern part wasn't available at the time so I went with PBL's in house version and plenty strong / responsive.

Another thing I've noticed comparing GZ and Bond is that I end up nudging a lot more with Bond. For me it feels like more of a throwback to solid state type of games. Just brutal a lot of times. Sorry for all the GZ/Bond comparisons. Just my two newest games, so I've been playing them both a lot.

Anyone else getting a ton of air balls from hitting the tip of the upper left flipper, and then the ball jumping over the slings and into the drain? I’ve probably had this happen 20 times now.

Nope but had a few air balls going straight past the right hand side of the rocket (when the targets were down) and up over the back of that ring, happened twice in the one game.

Oh, yeah. Over the slings, over the flippers, over the wireforms. Drain city!

It's a risky shot that I find myself attempting a lot more now to qualify those Jetpack locks and start BJB mode.

We had plenty of air balls.

Only thing we have done so far is to turn the sling power down. This seems to have got rid of most of them.

I am not a fan of turning the flipper power down. If I want to play a tired old game with mushy flippers, I will play one. A new Stern should have snappy flippers.

FWIW even our old BWs have snappy flippers. I cannot stand weak flippers.

I have air ball city on my bond hundreds lf airballs by now ; lower slingshot is solution?

Also emailed bug team after 300 straight games of me being OCD I could not get to or activate Qs ring once ; jt is removed from my game completely 100%

How could they overlook that and i mean she’s really gone I’m talking after 300 games trying to unlock that one mode I’m nuts I know but she’s gone for good on mine I’m sure they will eventually figure that one out eventually ; I actually miss slot machine lady

I get airballs all over the place on my premium…. Have changed up flipper power, incline, etc… and cant seem to get it under control at all. Id say every other game played I have at least one ball drain by hopping a sling or something similar. Kinda glad to hear its not isolated to my table actually!

She is still in my game, but I don't see her much. Q's ring is always the second Q mode after Radioactive Recon for me.

To other's points, I don't get airballs on my Pro. The only time the ball hits the glass for me is during the Aston Martin eject when it ejects into the wireform and pushes that up against the glass.

I'm on a Pro. I get zero airballs. I don't get Q's ring often, but when I have it is after radioactive.

Finally put up a decent score. Got the 2nd jet pack jackpot (the one here you control the wand) and jackpots after that we’re 9m each. Also got a 55m bonus on one ball.

Has anyone had Pussy Galore? I love Pussy, she is my favorite Bond Girl. If I could see more Pussy in this game it would be great! I mean you can never have enough Pussy. If you had more this game would feel so much better to flip and nudge. In order to get Pussy Galore is it just one shot in a sweet spot or multiple times, over and over? Maybe you should get Pussy with the left hand skill shot? If anyone has some pointers on how to score Pussy on this game let me know.

Q's Ring is very much still in the code, just comes after Radio Reconnaissance consistently on my Prem. I'd also note that the gadget modes generally seem much less available than in prior code. I don't see gadget modes nearly as often, it seems like.

I'm guessing there will be a number of changes around the gadget modes since we only currently have two of the six modes. I'd think availability, clarity around mode selection, etc. will all evolve as the additional modes come online.

Cool story here with how Keith Elwin was inspired by several Classic Stern titles to come up with his design for Bond 60th.
We talk with Keith about his very early years and how he got started with pinball as a youth playing and fixing pinball and arcade games as well as all the 70's and 80's classic titles he played as well as the very early pinball tournaments prior to pinball tournaments being a thing around the time when Twilight Zone first came out:

I hate to say this but "play better" LOL. I usually can get to Bond, James Bond mode and then keep playing and only rarely do I ever get radioactive. I also haven't seen Q's Ring since the update. Average games when I can get to Bond, James Bond are around 200+ million. I'm sure this will all get balanced in the upcoming releases.

We all complained endlessly about q’s ring, so they buried it in the back end of the code.

If you want to see that thing we all said we hate you’ll have to play longer games!

and they muted her (the actor voices), so even IF you get the mode, its just casino background sounds.

I thought that too but then I got it again and SHE was back. So maybe a bug that causes that to happen sometimes.

Yeah, I've had it both with and without voice. Likely a bug. First time I got it without voice it was worth a chuckle.

I’ve started Q’s ring a couple times since the last update. It’s so hilarious how bad it is that now I crack up every time since I’m not seeing it constantly.

I have had this happen on radio active recognizance, but it seems to happen when I get any combination of combo shots (lighted arrow shots) within a short period of time from mode start. I have gotten it back into the Aston Martin shot right after radio active starts and no bonus/end of mode... seems to me it needs to be a combo shot to end it right away with a big bonus.

My understanding with radioactive reconnaissance is that you are hunting for the radioactive material. So every time you start it one of the lit arrows will “find” the radioactive material and award you the full bonus. The goal is to find it before time runs out. Every time you play the mode the radioactive material is assigned at random to one of the lit targets. So I have had games where the first hit awards it and games where the last lit yellow shot awards it. All while trying to beat the clock.

In Radioactive Reconnaissance you are searching for where the radioactive samples were by using the Geiger meter.

It is a random shot each time.

If you luck into it on your first lit shot you get the full mode value and it ends.

If you hit a lit shot that isn't the hidden jackpot - you get three million - and continue the search.

By watching the meter on the screen it kind-of tells you how close you were to the hidden jackpot shot.

I think it's a fun mode.

I played Foo Fighters. And it's not.

That game feels like it's 100 percent already, even if it isn't. So do all the Sexton releases (I was an early and satisfied Zep/Rush owner).

I know it's not unprecedented, but THESE DAYS, the painfully slow code in Bond certainly feels like an anomaly.

We like it. Not as active as in a game like GZ but they have it tied in for a few things. It basically runs the whole time in Bond, James Bond mode I assume as a way to add tension. You definitely know when you're in the mode!

Honnestly i think it's a super nice effect. It shake lightly when a switch is hit. Ripping the spinner is super satisfying
