I'm out of space (and really shouldn't buy any more pins), but I've figured out a way to squeeze one last game in (just outside my main area). I've been dragging my feet, since I know the next pin will definitely be my last, and considering Batman66 (a Lyman coding masterpiece) or Weird Al (something completely different from what I already have). But a Bond 60th with assetts from all Bond actors (but why on such a small screen?) would be my choice if pricing isn't more than $18K. Then again, if pricing is much less than that all 500 will probably sell out before I have a chance to get one. So I am not very hopeful.

It's not going to be 25g. A couple real insiders have said 17995.

Quoted from MikeHogue:

I will not pay more than 18K for a bond 60th anniversary pinball machine. Shipped!

I contacted the distributor that I purchased my last two NIB games from and said I was all-in at $18K (or less).
At that price level the distributor declined to even put me on his "interested" list for Bond 60th.

Problem solved. No Bond 60th for me. I'm on a list with PinballSTAR for Scooby-Doo by Spooky instead.
It won't be as exclusive as a Bond 60th, but should make a great horror+humor pair with my EHoH LE.

Quoted from Mr68:

I did not buy Bond 60th. On day one I was privately offered the game below MSRP with free shipping. But as the reveal unfolded, my FOMO to buy faded even at the reduced price.

Saw the leaked photo. Understood the reason for film posters on both cab sides (more films to cover and 60th game not named after any one film like the others). Thought the implementation of the scoring reels looked bad, but figured it was just a place holder and I (incorrectly) thought the final design would look much better. Didn't like the small size LCD to be used, but hoped clips from all the Bond films would look okay displayed in the playfield (when closer to the player than in the backbox).

Then game went on sale and price was announced. Leaked photo was accurate. Score reels still look bad. Screen looks even smaller than I thought it would be. Price is too high for me. But the layout looks like a great shooter. Kept reading the steady stream of posts reacting to the game and thought it won't sell out at $20K. Felt if I offered a distributor $18K I might snag one. FOMO was running high. What stopped me was no assurance from Stern of it showing clips from all the films.

Quoted from Straight2VHS:

Just like all of my other pins, it will be cared for and kept in good working condition at all times.

Good for you, but I'm considering downvoting your post just because I'm jealous of anyone who can keep all of their pins in good working condition all the time.

Quoted from MikeS:

The team working on Bond 60th is no doubt talented, but if you're expecting code and rules to compare with Keith Elwin's first four releases I think you'll be disappointed.

If all the LCD screen in the playfield shows is worded instructions, I hope they give suitable programming credit to spell check.

In line spinners. You heard it here first.

How about five Spinners in a row?

Quoted from Zablon:

I will run up to Tilt if they get one and give it a few rolls.

Quoted from skink91:

If you're coming to Tilt to play, drive an extra 1/2 hour and play it at my house.

Don't go! I've read all your antagonistic posts in this thread. It's a trap!

Quoted from iceman44:

How many restored MM games were there then? Not many. We're talking thousands of $10K+ pins now and in the future, as more supply hits the market.

Easy now to see which '90s pins have become classics and gained in value and which games have not. The coming years will show which modern Sterns get revered like Attack from Mars and which are more like No Fear.

I opened this thread again because I saw so many posts I figured there had to be video being discussed.

Nope. I didn't read through all the posts, but skimming over them it looks like He-Man has started dating Barbie.

That is why Carvana is doing so well.
Those car vending machines were genius.

I just wish the one near me had a dollar bill validator.
I hate carrying around that large an amount all in change.

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

I bought my last 3 guitars online without ever playing them.
Cars really should be more like pinball machines.

So, guitarguments over carguments then?

Quoted from iceman44:

Stern has a bigger problem on future LEs. 1k at $13k ain’t gonna fly.
Gonna be interesting to see how JJP is gonna backtrack on pricing.

So far JJP and Stern each only have one game at these prices: TS4 CE at $15K and Bond LE at $13K.
Easy for either company to lower the pricing on their next release and blame high licensing cost for TS or Bond.

Has anyone received a shipping notice for their Bond 60th?
Surly the game is close to shipping.

They must be close to shipping, but there's no need to get surly about it.

Quoted from KingVidiot:

It’s like Hans Zimmer said “am I the best composer? No. Far from it. But I can deliver on time.”

So, expedience over excellence then?

Slam T1lt has blocked me.

Quoted from Beechwood:

"Welcome to the party, pal!"

How many of his posts do I need to downvote before he blocks me, too?
I figure I must be getting close.
