My bet is many distros will ask $25,000+.

Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:Distros will be hanging on to these longer than the Wrestlemania LEs if that is the case.
All they need to find is 500 people who don't care what the price is. This is Elwin. They will sell out instantly as long as the distros don't get crazy greedy.
Quoted from TreyBo69:I wonder what some of The Beatles diamonds went for. Sounded like a few went for 25k early, and then you rarely heard another peep about them. I know a lot of places were asking around 12-15k for the platinum early on. I knew someone who felt like they got a platinum for a bargain at 10.5k about a year after release.
But with Beatles, you could get the exact same game Gold for much cheaper. Not the case here.
Quoted from StoneyCreek:I'm incredibly interested in how the 'classic score reels' are going to be able to keep up with rapid score changes that happen in these modern machines.
Probably the same as Whoa Nellie.
Quoted from iceman44:$17,500? I think they will come out of the chute as high as they can, $25k? Then the real market sets in like Beatles and Elvira 40th
Beatles Diamond and Elvira 40th were just color variants of a layout available in huge quantities. Major difference here being this is the only way you can get this game.
Quoted from 1967Firebird:Does anyone think since it’s a single level game and only 500 made 007 that they could use same layout drops and shots just a new license?
Absolutely not. If they did, no one would pony up huge dollars in the future for a rare layout / limited game. Big part of the appeal is a unique Elwin layout with 500 units only.
Quoted from blowback1976:Supreme and Heavy Metal would like a word.
Huge difference is that the layout already existed BEFORE those games in home editions.
Quoted from gdonovan:I have never seen people so wound up over a pin when no official pictures have been released nor any official pricing.
It's just crazy to me.
Thats why it's called the FOMO build up. After the actual reveal it will be crickets 48 hours later.
Quoted from Dan1733:What evidence is there that this game has any movie assets at all?
The translite and the playfield.
Quoted from iceman44:Good question. What would it take? I def want it but …
I actually like the artwork. The interview did it for me. Not my cup of tea, a throwback game for $18k. Beatles fills that void.
But I can see why some people will like it. Totally different retro style.
All pinball is fun
Ice, didn’t you say you were out if the price started with 2? Well it doesn’t. Let’s go you know you want it!
Quoted from KadeP:Apologies if its been covered. Soo many posts. But was there a ‘special’ price for the 007 of 1000 LE and the 007 of 500 60th?
Thats one word to describe the pricing. Special.
Would any of the Bond 60th buyers be upset if this layout was re-used in another game? Part of the appeal for me (if I were buying) would be to have a unique Elwin layout you can't get anywhere else.
There has been talk that this could be used for other games, like the private label games.
Quoted from iceman44:I might be the only one that likes the artwork.
I like seeing all the Bond movie posters. What do you expect
Love the Bond girls. Pussy Galore
I’m gonna add them all up and it could sway a decision!
I knew Ice would finally come around! Add another to the owners club.
Quoted from Aurich:[quoted image]
To be fair, the same list includes playfield glass....
Quoted from flynnibus:Erik... you're fired
Seriously, whomever approved that copy should be whipped.
"I mean exclusive... as in not in any of the other editions NOT EVEN IN THIS FLYER"
Pure genius.
Erik is sales. Not Erik's fault, he is just covering for Zach Sharpe's marketing screw up.
Quoted from MK6PIN:Not sure I agree w all that Greg ( would think a viable package to serve the signature model well had to be part of the deal).
I know nothing about licensing assets for Pinball machines ( you definitely are)...but confident there will be more than vanilla here. Just my take..
The whole IC continued cross reference points to something
There are no movie clips. Didn't Stern even confirm this?
Quoted from SonOfaDiddly:i swear to god if one more person calls it a street level game
How about "deluxe coil count ramp-less masterpiece"?
Today is the calm before the storm. Tomorrow during the stream they will likely sell out because many pinsiders have a man crush on Keith Elwin. I also have this man crush, but not enough to spend these kind of bucks. Such a great designer and whatever Stern pays him it isn't enough.
I have to say I was wrong on this one. I thought that the game would be sold out after the stream, mainly because of the Elwin layout and how the gameplay + total package would look. For some reason it didn't show as well as I thought. It seemed pretty disjointed between the LCD PPT slides and the various sounds. It is obviously still going to be great fun for owners, and a rare title at the end of the day.
I'm excited to play the game at TPF and its pretty damn awesome that someone is going to be putting their own game out for everyone to play.
