Would love this game, and think it will sell out, as Keith knows what makes SS games tick.
At the price though, there are many other things I would choose to buy before a pinball with maybe 200% mark up!

Quoted from Grantman:I just had another dealer with a Thunderball LE available contact me yesterday. It appears that people are still dropping out when it's time to actually pay for/pick up the game. If the 60th anniversary game costs twice as much, I don't see how they are going to sell 500 of them.
Can't remember Stern ever getting LE's out so late after a reveal.
FOMO well and truly left the station, as normally there would be a new cornerstone in a week or two.
Quoted from CoinGuyNinja:Imagine buying this pin and finding out it doesn't have any LE/Prem mods built into it (shaker motor, expression lighting, art blades, etc..)
This looks like the lowest budget build they have ever made and are trying to sell it as a high margin super LE because it's James Bond.
Would be all over it if it was a home themed pin that was priced accordingly but this is a BIG TIME failure IMO.
Wonder what the profit margin is on these?
A BOM of $5000, leaves $7,500,000 profit on the table.
Good times for the investors.
Quoted from Psw757:You keep mentioning tons of assets. What assets?
Listen to the podcast with Elwin. They don’t want clips or a story to follow as that isn’t how classic games are. Code is already almost complete at .90. Very indicative of minimal 007 stuff in the game other than what’s on PF. Music probably just theme song. We will know very soon for sure.
I hope I’m wrong on this assumption for the price tag being asked
I am expecting zero assets as you are going to hear chimes etc.
Screen just for mission objectives plus achievements.
I guess there might be a song.
I would love one of these, far more than any other modern Stern game.
Maybe they will use another theme and make a cheaper version of the same layout etc?!
Stern and other companies don't show video for good reason.
It's clever as it maximises the dopamine rush that comes with FOMO and anticipating rewards.
'Cravings are the most underrated component of the habit loop because they have only recently been better understood. The strength and influence of cravings can best be demonstrated with a quick explanation of neurobiology. Dopamine is the primary neurotransmitter in our reward experiencing pathway, and it was designed evolutionarily to encourage positive behaviors that help in survival. Makes sense. But only recently was it discovered that the largest dopamine spike in the brain occurs in anticipation of the reward, not while experiencing the reward. This is really important because that is exactly when cravings are active.'
Quoted from Torqz:Try your luck, help the kids, Project Pinball has the James Bond 60th Anniversary SLE up for their raffle with entries starting to be accepted tomorrow.

A one in 200 chance seems like the best odds I will ever get of owning one!
Worth buying a ticket I think, and if I lose who cares, a good deed is done.
Quoted from MK6PIN:Thank you for posting! Definitely sounds like ( and appears to be) a great game....getting sxcited..
I don't think there really is any doubt, that this won't be a great game and different to a lot of the cookie cutter stuff.
Anyway, let the outrage continue
Quoted from Zablon:Deleted post
Yeah, it really is totally inappropriate to say this kind of stuff.
New low for this thread.
Quoted from Zablon:The day is young. If the price doesn't hurt, then I think you'll survive a few metaphors. It is essentially what 90% of of the people are saying for the whole thread.
EDIT: Oh I see, so now who are the whiners. Yeah. That pretty much sums it up.
Metaphors are fine.
I just think using the word 'rape' out of context is pretty insensitive.
But, hey, maybe I am too sensitive.
