Distros trying to get $25? No way that’s true
Months of hype for this shit? Fuck you Stern!!! This overpriced photoshopped collage of hot garage isn’t worth the pro price. The layout and shots look pretty fun but $20k? Cmon man. That is some expensive side armor and and extra $10k for the playfield screen. Limited to 500 globally. What a joke.
I'm struggling to think of a time where a new game announcement depressed me more in regards to the state of the hobby. What a joke this is.
Quoted from skink91:I’m in. Also thinking I need to look into treatment facilities.
Are you shaking and feeling stirred?
Quoted from Kkoss24:They’ll sell out .
U sure? Elvira 40th stil available by distro’s..
Quoted from Mr68:Are you shaking and feeling stirred?
That’s actually an incredibly accurate description.
Looks like it will be fun to play. Maybe it will be at a Pinball Show this year for all of us to play.
Be interesting to see if anyone puts one on location....
Quoted from frisco_melt:So I guess the "shot you've never seen" is the ampersand in the upper left? I'm whelmed.
I feel like a lot of pins have had something similar, esp those Gottliebs where half the PF is close shots to allow a separate PF area behind it (Rock, Spring Break, Gold Wings...etc.), but now that shot is just in a corner. Nothing really crazy or new. It's 3/4 of a circle.
Anyone who participates in this crap of a game, should be ashamed. I can't imagine Elwin is OK with this, or maybe he just doesn't care?
How can people like JJ send out their email blast about ordering this, and NOT be thinking to themselves "wow, this is really messed up" ?
Quoted from PanzerFreak:Well well well how the tables have turned lol
[quoted image]
Ha ha, excellent PanzerFreak !
Quoted from cletus:I really want to see some Brian Holderman art on a retro-style pin.
That make two of us. I have one of the 25 Silver Bullet backglasses hanging in my garage. But licenses sell, so not holding my breath.
That said, licenses also gave us this uninspired package, they clearly picked a dud this time around.
Quoted from epthegeek:Wait a second. Is that actually a set of 4 reels and NOT any LCD screen? 4 digits? seven miles apart? Really?
There's a bit near the beginning where the player presses start and some graphics disappear from the display so I thought it was just an LCD.[quoted image][quoted image]
Id speculate its like a slot machine… transparent lcd with physical effects behind
Game looks fun and i love elwin. I would prob buy at premium pricing only because its an Elwin.
Im guessing this will eventually sell out because of 500 units/elwin. But tbh Id rather have the regular LE.
Quoted from TreyBo69:I'll stir the pot, 500 Bond 60ths at 20k has more demand than 1,000 TS4 at 15k.
Definitely when there are a few thousand more TS4 available at 12k. I don’t think people have a point of reference on this one…
Quoted from PanzerFreak:Well well well how the tables have turned lol (yes I'm joking)

FTFY
Untitled-1 (resized).jpgThat sucks, I'd like to play this at some point. But 500 copies and at $20k, it's going to sit in someone's game room and never see public eye. Might have to go to a convention to play this.
It says a lot of the state of the hobby when you can do a mediocre pin and people are willing to shell out 20k + for it.
Stern is cashing in on stupidity at this point!
Quoted from flynnibus:Id speculate its like a slot machine… transparent lcd with physical effects behind
Okay, it would be interesting if the LCD was able to put the reels into different scenarios - they'd become the seconds ticking down on a bomb, etc.
This is the first Stern machine in 3 years that does nothing for me.
Maybe (and that's a big maybe) if it had been announced in a world without the Gomez game the theme/novelty/nostalgia would have been enough of a pull, as it is I don't get it at all, never mind the price.
Quoted from Kkoss24:Modders better get on the “Daniel Craig’s arm holding a gun “decal pronto !!
[quoted image]
His hand is on his other gun
Quoted from Yoko2una:I feel like a lot of pins have had something similar, esp those Gottliebs where half the PF is close shots to allow a separate PF area behind it (Rock, Spring Break, Gold Wings...etc.), but now that shot is just in a corner. Nothing really crazy or new. It's 3/4 of a circle.
Gold Wings did it twice.
Quoted from Coz:$20,000 for a pinball machine…..no thanks.
Plenty of games I'd pay $20k for - just not this one.
I am very impressed. Wonderful throwback to early 1980s games. The u-turn thing (with ball lock) in the upper corner looks ace. Too bad it will be so limited.
Quoted from PinBallPeteFromSD:No way they are real Score reals, its a digital version of them on the normal Stern LCD.
from the Stern Insider interview with Elwin and Penacho:

On the way, 3D printed for $200
The backbox reels are mechanical and the lights are just lights that light up the score values, players, ball # like the old days. No LCD in the backbox.
50,000 score rolls the game over and it looks like there is a light for that too.
Quoted from flynnibus:Id speculate its like a slot machine… transparent lcd with physical effects behind
20k and they can’t even put interior art blades or mirrors in it? Seems like way less of a game then the normal version of bond for twice the price.
Quoted from cletus:Hopefully, they reuse this layout for other high-cost licenses the way they did with Woah Nellie, Pabst Can crusher, and Primus.
I’d like to play the layout, but not with this theme. Original themes from pinball artists at home pin prices would be awesome. I really want to see some Brian Holderman art on a retro-style pin.
I can see that being the case. People want KME designs, but practically everyone who does is balking at this $20K single level Pro.
I wonder if the WNBJM/PBR design is being retired in lieu of this design. Stern said some home pins were on final run but that home pins weren't dead. That means new designs.
Remove the spinning hat, replace all non-inline drops with standups, no PF screen, add mini LCD screen in backbox, and maybe 1-2 opto spinners (just because they hate us) and I could see this being the ramp-less Home Pin design... and they can market it as a KME design to boot.
Is this the newest in “The Pin” home game line? I guess at $4k, they couldn’t afford an art package.

why is it messed up?
A company is selling something- you can chose to buy or not?
Quoted from wolffcub:Has a bit of ALI going on on the left side.[quoted image]
It's all about Bounty Hunter on the left.
pasted_image (resized).pngLook…. Even the golden goose will lay a rotten egg if you give it garbage to eat. You know what I mean? I feel like this is the nicest way to say what I’m thinking.
Quoted from crwjumper:It’s “Supreme” all over again. I wonder how much those are worth now?
Bond isn’t in the same league of collectibles as Supreme.
