Translite looks like shit but like the cabinet art.
Quoted from PinStalker:Kaneda wins again!!
So many people were saying Elwin street-level design in the original hype thread before he did, he just repeats everyone else's guesses and charges people $ to listen.
Quoted from m00nmuppet:So many people were saying Elwin street-level design in the original hype thread before he did, he just repeats everyone else's guesses and charges people $ to listen.
I'm almost positive he was the only one talking about it, well before anyone else. The hype thread reflected his rumors, not the other way.
Quoted from MrDucks:Depends on what "the hobby" is. Is it playing pinball or collecting pinball machines?
Clearly the hobby is collecting everything.
Street Level pins translate to super easy VPin creations. Works out for everyone. Haha
Makes me suspect there are two trim levels on the elwin maybe? didn't they say mechanical reels in the podcast??
Quoted from m00nmuppet:So many people were saying Elwin street-level design in the original hype thread before he did, he just repeats everyone else's guesses and charges people $ to listen.
Exactly. The details were known to insiders weeks before his classless leak. Such a tool. Even still, Stern did a great job of hiding the 60th version even though most knew Bond was coming for a long time.
I'm very thankful to whomever leaked the pic being that I was having to make a decision between the LE & this anniversary edition (It's not an SLE).
So just going with my gut and picking the LE because it looks beautiful and since Gomez looks to have had the most time in and the most fun designing it.
If Connery was alive and this was a Kapow and it was designed by Gomez like Batman '66 SLE it might be different.
If any of you are in on it with Elwin I'm sure it will be a great game, Congrats. I'll stick with Godzilla!
Quoted from andrewket:It looks terrible.
I think it will end up being a nice novelty pin, a conversation piece and collectible if you're an Elwin fan.. but certainly not more than a Connery LE in Aquamarine. If you can get both, great, but with that many Bonds? It kind of looks like a mish mosh imo. The sideart reminds me of the GNR LE.
Quoted from TreyBo69:It's cool the topper and shooter are included, but no art blades? Come on...
Haha.. I wonder if that was the cost cutter? No expression lights for sure. Not available!
Quoted from Venetic:Makes me suspect there are two trim levels on the elwin maybe? didn't they say mechanical reels in the podcast??
That is what i'm thinking too.
I’m more interested to see how it plays. If Elwin really captured the feel of old school games, this could be killer.
Quoted from PinStalker:Kaneda wins again!!
Remember…he tells you things he is told. This isn’t deep throat here
Quoted from titanpenguin:I’m more interested to see how it plays. If Elwin really captured the feel of old school games, this could be killer.
Elwin makes incredible Games. I can't see this one being any different.
Quoted from iceman44:For $25k?
500 buyers? “Let’s try it”. Gomez
The topper is worth $10k alone
Thats a 5K topper for sure.
LE cabinet, powder coat, and Trans look sexy A.F. This 60th edition looks like hammered dog shit in comparison. Who knows how well either will actually play, but based on looks, LE wins hands down.
Quoted from guitarded:That cab art is awful
Right?
Because we all stare at the cabinet art , while it's stuck in between other games.
This is perfect art for the Era!
Anything else on this or the other Bonds would look awful .
Sorry it's not to your taste.
Looks like a bond fan page on MySpace. Pretty weak imo. The pro has the best art of the bunch I think
Doesn't it seem off that they would have a limited 60th that is barely accessible to everyone and a price point that many can't afford. Didn't they say there was going to be unlockable content that you can transfer between the 60th and cornerstone?
Is there any place where they actually say only 500 and at a high price point?
i don't know if it's been mentioned in this thread before, i don't wanna read through the entire thing..
but anyone who's played with Keith in tournaments, or knows him at all, knows that he is a fan of classics. I have no doubts that the guy can design a seriously fun and challenging classic-style layout, like no other. As far as anything beyond that, art, audio, animations, i can't say if that'll be good or not. But as a player first and foremost, i'll be damned if I won't be dying to play one of these.

That's the bitch of it, hardly any of us will likely get to play one.
just another cash grab. stern knows theres is an “ASS” for every seat. 500 suckers will run to their dealers and bend over for Gary to ram it to them. Sad.
Quoted from Psw757:A single die for the shooter?
Look closely.. it’s 1 die with rubies in it, similar to a dagger.
Quoted from Tyler_Durden:That playfield looks a little barren, maybe they are taking the 60's theme to the playfield layout.
How can you tell from the limited pic provided so far?
Quoted from manadams:Not even any art blades on the SLE? Stern gonna bend 500 special buyers over real nice!!!
One has to wonder if there will be lube!
That back glass is….not very attractive.
I am excited to see what Keith did but for me initially, I feel the LE and Gomez captured the feel of a bond game. Ya know, lots of gadgets, ramps and special toys. But who knows, still gotta se the playfield and some gameplay.
Quoted from dr_nybble:Unless the layout is reskinned for future games…
Yep. Stern could later make it into another "Private Label" game that they could sell.
Supreme - Heavy Metal
Primus - Pabst Can Crusher

Balm.... James Balm.

You got the lube when you bought Godzilla!
