Look I think the game looks super fun, but to anyone thinking/hoping there will be movie assets....all information that we currently have says no. During the interview with Elwin and Mark Penacho (software) Mark was asked "how much did the theme and all the different Bonds play into your thought process and what you're doing on the programming side." And his response was "for this game not really a whole lot."
In the three videos I've seen of people playing this game at CES, the only thing that ever appeared on the screen was text. "Shoot Bond Targets To Light Oddjob Disc" and "Shoot MI6 Targets For Supershots" are two that I remember.
I'm not saying that's a bad thing, I personally think it's fine on a game like this, I'm simply offering up this information for those who are still expecting tons of Bond footage from every movie. Who knows maybe by the time owners unbox the game it will be oozing Bond footage, but I think Penacho pretty much answered that question already in the interview. So IF that aspect of the game is super important to you maybe wait until we get some proper gameplay footage or a Deadflip stream before buying one.
Dammit...why did I open this thread today......guess to see if anyone received theirs yet....."movie clips = biggest selling point"? "what movie soundtracks"? gmafb
Cannot wait to get this damn thing home....certain it will bore me to death.....

That wasn’t exactly the context of the Q&A or the actual finished product
In the Gomez interviews and discussions he was always selling it as a theme that “incorporated all different Bond movie assets”.
Different Bond villain weapons etc.
If “all Bond assets” means displaying it on the artwork and used in “achievements” then it is what it is.

There are no movie clips. Maybe that's a good thing. Everyone would be arguing what should and shouldn't be in the game. Game play seems like it would be fast and furious anyway, you know, the way pinball used to be. No time for watching movies.

I think people are way to jumpy about some of this stuff.
Personally I think this game from what I’ve seen and it isn’t much is that it would probably be better with no movie clips.
It does need to have some music though. Pinball and good music are a good pair and hopefully they have a nice selection of tracks and there is a ton to work with.

Hopefully music can be edited in pinball browser like with Beatles.

Yeah that’s a last resort.
With Gomez Bond and state of code there are a lot of placeholders of things not used yet but hopefully we can make tweaks if needed.

Just talked to the owner of a local hotspot that is hosting the AZ Pinball Championahips and asked if they are getting a Bond SLE. They were planning on it, but said $20,000 one dollar at a time is just too much. They have other Prems and LE, so thats kinda a bummer. They do have a Bond Prem so thats cool!!
I wouldn’t expect clips or much music. Be pleasantly surprised if they show up and not disappointed when they don’t show up.
Note on the Gomez Bond how film footage and music is specifically advertised vs not at all mentioned on Elwin Bond.
They would advertise it as a selling point if they had it. The assets you get are in the art (and probably recycled music from the Gomez Bond, so the main theme song plus filler)

The LCD screen to “learn about missions”.
Something that Gomez said in an interview was unlocking unique certain missions and code for players that had both games
For the Bond fan and someone that likes a Beatles type experience, which is excellent, then I’m sure it will be great.

The price is crazy. But it will be a good playing pin. Elwin has a talent for sure. I want to play this pin more than any other right now. If you can't wait to get one home, you should be happy. Because you definitely have some money. Lol. Enjoy in good health.

Oddjobs and Slash are both known for their hats but that is pretty much where the similarity ends. Slash is a performer so his hat is bigger and fancier. Oddjobs has a hat that is supposed to look ordinary until it is thrown as a secret weapon. In both games the hat is appropriate to the theme. In GNR the hat is a static sculpt that doesn't interact with the ball or the spinning disk below it. In Bond the hat spins and it fits with the theme as Oddjobs throws his hat and it spins as it goes through the air. I have a GNR but still feel like the Oddjobs hat is pretty original and cool.

It is odd the readout on the pf screen says Oddjob disk. It should say hat and yea, my comparison was lame, but i still think the hat could look better. Anyway!!
