I guess we know now why KME was really only backhanding the inline drops on stream
Quoted from TreyBo69:Do you mind taking a few photos of the playfield underside sometime? And an extra few photos of the inline drop mech? I’m curious about how it works and it wasn’t detailed in the manual. K.thx.bai
Here you go. Hope I’m showing what you’re looking for.

Games are shipping.
Congrats to all the new owners.
Really looking forward to getting our game. Hopefully we have it around Easter!.
Played for a little over an hour last night, which means I got about 30 games in…lol. Waxed it, so it was really fast. I was struggling to get to 10K points, then finally had a good game where I got over 23K. You know they expect short ball times when one of the audits is number of 0-1 minute games.
The top of the slings are much higher than the post between the in & outlanes making it really hard to save. They supply little rubbers for that post that would make it easier. Audits show twice as many drains on the left compared to the right. I think this game will definitely improve my nudging.
Game is a little short. 72”, slightly less than 80” if including the topper. My other games are 75”.
I like the music. Goes well with the game.
Shooter knob comes in a separate box, so don’t be surprised when you don’t see it on the rod.
My game did not come with a shaker motor. I checked the flyer and I see it was supposed to….oops.

Interesting. Curious if that will be the case with the rest of us this week as well. To be honest, not sure I can picture what it might add or not to gameplay… but if we paid for it, we need to get it… even if we end up moving it to a different game!
going to Mesa to play at Starfighters this weekend. i'm going to come home to Bond set up at 5 degrees, a degree and a half off level, with 200 plays and a high score of 1200 points
also...the outlane posts came shipped in the middle position, right? and can you hear the reels?
Yes, shipped in the middle position.
No on hearing the reels. There are sound effects for the reels, but neither my wife or I can her them spinning.
Quoted from KirboTurbo:Matte black finish. Sitting right next to RUSH and they are exactly the same.

Hmm not sure that fits the "Custom high gloss and powder-coated pinball armor" description from the flyer
Quoted from reffob:Hmm not sure that fits the "Custom high gloss and powder-coated pinball armor" description from the flyer
That and lack of shaker definitely don't seem right (?).....according to flyer
Iam gonna be highly upset if the black finish is the same as a premium or pro?? WTF Stern? Something isn’t right
To me the photos on the flyer and site look exactly like those… and same as the Rush LE armor as well.
It is not a an issue in the slightest for me, as I like it on my Rush LE… I don’t even really know what ‘custom high gloss’ means if I am being honest.
I don't mind the matt finish as it hides fingerprints and blemishes better - I just don't want it to the the crinkle pro finish which it clearly isn't.
Once more ask, if I may be so bold, can you take a photo of the CPU board please? Keen to understand how they are connecting the screen.
Quoted from NeilMcRae:I don't mind the matt finish as it hides fingerprints and blemishes better - I just don't want it to the the crinkle pro finish which it clearly isn't.
True...I'll be anxious to see it. Definitely not " gloss", just hoping for something a bit unique...

I think we are getting a whole bunch of unique here… but to me sure looks like the same one as Rush LE.

Guess I won't know until I see it....only example that cones to mind was JJPPOTCLE. It has a very smooth, satin, flat black which differs from a standard Stern Pro " crinkly" ( more coarse) finish.
Idk
Any chance we can get an actual count of owners with a poll or something? I thought I was going to be only one of twelve, but it seems that’s not the case.
Super pumped.

I can add one… everybody let me know what you want it to be. For example, there’s only one version of it so should it just be something like:
(Option 1) I live in the US and bought one, (Option 2) I don’t live in the US and bought one
(Thats just one example of something I think we are all curious about)
Quoted from skink91:I can add one… everybody let me know what you want it to be.
Thanks man. Nothing fancy. And before anyone chimes in, I do understand it would only capture the segment of the market that frequents Pinside. Not the entire market.
I really like that flat finish. Hopefully its like the gunmetal finish on CCRr LE, which looks great as well.
I too did not want the crinkle-cut (or whatever its called) standard pro armor.
I will be apoplectic if I need to shell out another 120 for a shaker.
Quoted from Dan1733:I will be apoplectic if I need to shell out another 120 for a shaker.
There’s just no way that would be the case… it was on the list of included items, so I am not concerned we will get them (whether they forgot to include them in all our shipments installed may be another question…)

Just like the "exclusive" topper......
Sorry to bring up a sore subject during an exciting week. Had that topper truly been exclusive to the 60, it would have gone a long way to building and holding the value on this SLE model.
Quoted from SonOfaDiddly:i think it's going to hold value just fine
This will go up in value for simply the Bond factor and so few machines.
This machine will just not be coming up on pinside for sale very often.

I am going to have to disagree with you there… I really don’t think the value is going to go up from where it is at, and I also expect to see people trying to sell their games (at a profit) over the next few months. Just been around pinball people too long now to expect a ‘leopard to change its spots’.
Edit: hope that doesn’t come off as me being negative about this pin… it is more aimed at the character of many pinball buyers habits that I have observed the last few years
Quoted from SonOfaDiddly:i mean i could see a NIB one going for a pretty penny at the 75th anniversary of the franchise, if the earth still exists by then
i don't think it will gain value, either, though. i think it's gonna stay at around 20k for a very long time.
Hope thats true. Would love to take a victory lap in the "hype" thread once in a while.
i drained that thread long ago and can only advise that you do the same. salty ne'er-will-plays looking to score points for who can be angriest about something that doesn't affect them at all
on another topic, what do you all think of the first mod that showed up on the market specifically for the LE? i'm kind of meh on it personally. i see what they were going for matching the red with the head trim but eh. i sort of like the plain-ness of the front of the cab

It's only a $20,000 pinball machine. You can't expect them to actually include all the stuff it's supposed to have or to put in the effort to install the shooter knob for you...

They didn't do this on Maiden LE either which also came with a shooter rod. The reason is the knob is slightly longer than the usual one and the game not fit in the packaging with it installed.

Ok see ya in 15 years lol.

Same w EHOH40...that grip was (is) loong...

I like the satin black. It looks nice on Rush LE. I'm going to swap the t-molding and flipper buttons out and go all stealth.

I do no think this game will build in value for quite a while. First, it needs to sell out. Then there needs to be more demand than supply before the sale price will go up.
Pinball is a hobby. We bought the game as my wife loves that style of game. We intend to play and share with all our family and friends. If you treat pinball as an investment strategy, prepare for boom and bust cycles. The popularity of the hobby today is amazing. Hopefully this continues

Agree with this. But when your hobby also involves moving them in and out regularly, it’s nice to know that the process can be accomplished efficiently.
Quoted from skink91:Dude. No shaker in mine either.
I called Stern today. They are sending me one.
Don’t buy a $20k game if you want to move it out as part of some regular cycle. Sorry to even mention price, but if you’re just looking to rotate games around this isn’t a great fit.

Black balls go well in this game. I had one around and put it in. The lighting is really good, especially around the flipper area, so it is very visible…and I play with the lights off.

Mine is shipping on Wednesday! Any particular one you recommend that I can buy?

Check out Back Alley Creations. Matt has Black Pearl pinballs. Lots of different designs. He even does custom. Guessing he might get some orders for “007” balls.
