So, as I play Jacks Open more, the more I prefer the 5-ball rules progression to the 3-ball. I'm finding it too easy to climb the ladder in a home environment. I'm wondering if

A: If anyone has successfully converted their game to be a 3-ball game, but use the 5-ball rules.

and

B: If doing so would be considered heresy.

I'd love to give it a try in the most non-invasive and most reversible way possible, and for the sake of consistency, I like to keep all my games on 3-ball play. I feel like it should just be a matter of changing the wiring at the jones plug adjustment, I just don't know how to go about it.
