Hi, I have a Jackbot that is doing something strange. So normally the game's ramp will stay up for double or nothing or for jackbots during multiball for the player to hit the target. But on my game the ramp will go up at those times (like normal) but only stay up for 5-6 seconds then go back down, then the game sees that and pushes the ramp back up and it stays up for another 5-6 seconds then repeats till the end of the double or nothing or the end of the multiball and then goes down and stays down as normal. What could be causing this? The ramp mechanism obviously works (plus I tested it in solenoid test, no issues) the microswtich that detects ramp down is working perfectly, tested that in switch test. What could be causing the up ramp coil to not be holding longer than that time-frame? I almost didn't notice it, as the game still gives you the cash out and or the jackbot value whether you hit the target at that time or whether you shoot the ramp instead (if the flap happens to be down at that moment) so rules-wise it's still playing correctly. Also because the coils ARE working, and the ramp down microswitch is working, there is no credit dot.
I could leave it as is, since everything is still registering, but i'd love to figure out what could be causing it. Anyone seen this before or have any ideas? Thanks!
