Hello guys,
I have a Jackbot photo request. Could someone please lift their playfield and take and post a couple of pics of the ramp hold coil and wiring? I recently aquired a Jackbot and the ramp hold coil was shorted, along with the TIP 102 that drives it. The middle trace coming off the TIP 102 was also totally burnt in half. I repaired all that stuff, and the game worked for 2 of 3 balls before doing the same thing. I think someone that owned the machine before me wired in a replacement ramp hold coil backwards. I didn't know this, and I duplicated the reverse wiring when I replaced everything. Doh!! At least this is what I suspect. I would like to verify the wiring to the coil via a photo from a working Jackbot to confirm my suspicions.
The Jackbot I have is a regular model (white triangle inserts in front of the Jackbot targets and green boards under the playfield), not a prototype or a pre-production if that makes any difference.
Thank you in advance for any assistance on this.
