Quoted from Doorcrashers:

Hi all!! New to this club! Just purchased our first Pinball machine - Jackbot. Hoping someone might have some ideas how to fix the Double or Nothing problem we have. The flippers work for hitting the ball. When Double or Nothing activates, the left flipper option to collect works, but the right flipper will not activate Double or Nothing or Casino Run. Fuses checked, connection checked and the button connector checked. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Check the opto board on that flipper (where the cabinet button is), 2 optos on that board. one opto activates the flipper the other opto is for the select feature. Either a bad connection at the board or a faulty opto. The boards are rather inexpensive to replace.

Quoted from jibmums:

Just received my mini-playfield in the in mail from Planetary. The printing looks fantastic but the playfield doesn't lay perfectly flat, it looks like at some point the middle of it sat on top of something warm and slightly deformed over it. I tried warming it with a hair dryer, like with plastics, but it's just not flattening. Not happy, this shouldn't be an issue on an $80 piece of plastic.

I installed one of these in the Jack-bot I had, it was perfectly flat like a sheet of glass. Not sure what happened there. I did notice there is a hole missing that needs drilled.

Quoted from jibmums:

Everything works perfectly except for one thing: the right flipper button works the flipper but it doesn't change the "extra ball" lane change, and it doesn't work for the "double or nothing" either. Can't figure out why the flipper works but those don't, would this be an opto problem?

I believe JB uses optic switches on the cab buttons. There are two optos on the little board. One controls flipper the other controls lane change functions and entering initials. One opto may be dirty, flaky or have bad solder joints. Check the little board behind the flipper button first. Good cleaning may help as well.
