Hey all, I have a Jackbot pinball machine on route that decided to set itself ablaze yesterday. I got there shut it down, inspected the game and found this... What could cause this burn up to happen?

Thanks!

Ryan

Figure what transistor number that was, find the coil in the coil table that it drives, check that mech?

Looks like solenoid #14 , "drop ramp" SM1-26-600

You may need to ensure it is not over fused.

Just a heads up this issue has been resolved. The smalle coil that moves the left ramp up-and-down shorted out in fried the transistor on the board. I replace these 2 components and now the game works great. Interestingly enough the game was fused correctly.

That is amazing that a properly fused game would cause that much damage!

I would replace the fuse, too. It may be mis-marked.
