My Jack*Bot boots up with the message "Check Fuses F115 and F116, J112 AND OPTO 12V Supply" and when a game starts it just keeps popping balls into the shooter lane. Fuse F116 blows as soon as the game is turned on. Following information, I've seen elsewhere for when this problem occurs on a WPC-S based game I replaced BR5 as well as the other 2 bridge rectifiers on the board. I powered the game back up and F116 immediately blew again.

Does anyone have any ideas on where to go from here?

Try unplugging the power supply going to the optic board.
Could of shorted out.

What I've tried so far:
Unplugging J112, (2 white/green wires) keeps the fuse from blowing
There is continuity from the J112 back to the transformer, no continuity to the ground braid
Pulling the fuse and checking VAC at the fuse holder shows a steady 12.2v
Since I just replaced the Bridge Rectifier I think the problem has to be after the BR not before it
Replaced the fuse and unplugged J3 from the Opto PCB - Fuse blew on power on
Plugged J3 back in

Looking at the schematics it looks like the rectified 12v is going to J118, J117, J116. I think my next step is to unplug these 3 connectors and see what happens. My thought is If the fuse still blows the problem in on the driver board. If the fuse doesn't blow I test them individually to see which one causes the fuse to blow and go from there.

Sound about right?

Checked with J116, J117, & J118 unplugged and the fuse doesn't blow. So at least it doesn't look like a board problem. Now I just have to keep going to narrow it down further.

Problem solved a cheap LED strip I had getting power by piggybacking of J116 had shorted. Disconnected it and no more problems.

That's why when I use some custom mods always use separate power supply put at the bottom of the machine,so no worry for strange problems.
And it's always easy to remove.

I call that a self-inflicted wound!
