Increase? Yeah, like at least a decade after they make the last one. Maybe not even then. Even LOTR's are pulling back from where they were priced.

Well, if you look almost every pin is taking a hit in resale value. This is normally a soft time. Plus pins have sold for stupidly high prices for the last year. Add in a bunch of new pins selling around 8k. None of those issues are related to any one pin and instead effect all resale prices.
