I went to a walk-in clinic yesterday to be treated for a cough that's been pretty nasty. They referred me to urgent care elsewhere, so I could get a chest x-ray to determine whether or not I had bronchitis or pneumonia. My lung x-rays looked fine and I did not respond to the nebulizer they gave me initially. This led to them having security and police clear the hospital hallways and escort me to isolation at the ER, as they entered talks with the department of health to see if I was a likely COVID19 case.
What a bizarre experience. After about an hour, they let me know I no longer needed to be in isolation and unlikely to have COVID19. I feel for the health workers out there, this has to be incredibly stressful times for htem.
