Divorce is an every day occurrence these days. The best thing to do is move on and pay as little alimony as possible.

I had a similar feeling once. Just like when they brought back taco flavored doritos.

I have been very disappointed in the quality and price of food McDonalds has been selling for the last several years. But instead of just not going there anymore, I might have to make it my crusade to spread the word and see how many other people I can get on the boycott bandwagon.

Sausage McMuffins with egg with hot sauce.

The day your Batman SuperLE arrives, get two.

    Quoted from Dutchman2009:

It all changed with the arrival of Jody Dankberg who told Gary Stern he wasn't charging enough for his machines. Then making different versions of the same machine with more/less features at different price points.

It was meat patties in a drawer instead of hot off the grill and the McRib VE that pushed me over the edge.

There's only one cure for that. "The Artery Unclogger".

Makes me wonder what this world is coming to.....

I would expect WOF code to be finished before any of those.... as it did come out first.

    Quoted from PW79:

But many wont even notice because they will have a hard on for next incomplete unproven broken game

You're kidding right? Nobody is going to forget this thread. Not going to happen. No way, no how. NEVER!!!

    Quoted from TimeBandit:

So, will Star Wars be SW77?

Whichever one they can sell for $15k, is probably the one they will do.

    Quoted from Jvspin:

If BM66 SLE can sell out at $15k do you really expect them to price the 40th anniversary SW77 SLE the same? I see a price increase on the horizon.

Make it 31st or 32nd anniversary. I can see this becoming an annual ritual.

    Quoted from Jvspin:

I think TSPP and LOTR were the pinnacle.

Same year as Ripley's. All three were packed pretty full. Playfield and code wise. 2003 wasn't a bad year.

    Quoted from PinballAlley:

if a pinball guy cannot find something to make himself happy then it doesn't exist.

That just makes too much sense for this forum. You're going to have to do better than that.

    Quoted from Shaneus:

And with all this talk about faulty playfields, peeling decals and cheap toys, my HUO RBION still looks and plays as good as the day it was made.

And seemingly, somehow still better than a lot of new Sterns.

I was noticing the same thing on my RBION. It's been played, but still looks like a brand new machine.

    Quoted from jgentry:

You are not an investor. You are a purchaser of a product which is a consumer.

Anytime I purchase something that was designed to make money, specifically a coin operated machine, I'd say it is an investment, and therefore I'm an investor.

Like when I purchased tools to repair cars to make money. Those tools were an investment that I could depreciate over time.

    #577 7 years ago

Some get offended when you use the term "investment" in regards to a pinball machine. lol.
However many old pinball flyers referred to them as just that.

    Why, what happened last night?

    #611 7 years ago
    Quoted from nate1981s:

It just seems wrong to call pinball a investment any way you look at it.

You can always tell those that haven't been around pinball very long.
