I've been a long time Stern Pinball fan, but I'm done with them.

My first nib was st pro. Probably my last nib, I feel similar to many in here.. the games are fun, I have a hard time justifying the price when you keep getting less for more.

    Quoted from Dewey68:

You guys are pretty tough on this post, but he's correct. Stern will keep raising prices and cutting corners until it hurts their business. There is no reason not to. You've got people tripping over their dicks to buy a $15k pinball machine. They are in business to make a profit. When QC, pricing, and competition start to eat into sales and profits they will have to address it.

All i'm sayin' is I bought NIB before, probably won't again.. Maybe they should be pricing lower to get more business from people like me.. maybe they're doing great with tiny runs of 15k super LEs. The market will sort it out, I'm just here to play pinball.

    Quoted from kpg:

Here is what my $8K got me with Stern... which some can see why I find it hilarious they are raising prices, yet who knows when I'll get a replacement playfield or if the issues have been fixed. Was playing GB LE last night, and more of my playfield or some piece of the machine broke off again and stopped in the shooter lane that I had to remove the glass to take the piece out. It's becoming a pretty common thing to see pieces of playfield scattered around lol. Notice the bare wood and lack of clear coat in the shooter lane too? Sorry, have to laugh that after this their solution was to jack up prices for their products.

Would be nice if a premium clear job was at least an option.. although it should be standard on anything over pro.
