I agree the game itself is a winner but the LE art package was not all that iceman. I'm still on the fence.

Quoted from rotordave:Agreed .. but that's not a Gomez game.
I just sold and delivered my Who Dunnit today, coincidentally... bye bye!

Make me wonder what happened to that brilliant young designer that made Corvette, JM and LOTR. He's hasn't had a hit in along time.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Code, bro. You know, that thing that's "always been a problem" at Stern. People like LOTR because of its incredibly deep and well done Keefer code, along with the theme, toys, etc.
I'm not a huge fan of that game but it's undeniable people like it - players and collectors and Rings fans.
Right....the code aside which on it's own is a compelling reason. I think the execution of the theme was very good, the callouts, the dots, and the toys. The ring shot is pretty cool. We talk about all great pins having some kind of a hook...meaning like Rudy, Mist M-ball, HS2 with supercharger, MM with a collapsing castle...etc etc. LOTR has it. That's why the vault is coming.....shhh.
