Only complaint from my first Stern would be that the lift mechanism for the playfield is kind of ghetto compared to Williams/Bally.

I thought he had a Suziki bike.

P.S. : My dad's E60 M5 is in the shop and is getting some new intake/exhaust/wheels. Can't wait to see it in person!!!

Could you please post some close up pictures of the lower playfield's Hell window, if possible?

    How clear is it?

I would like to see how Stern is addressing the new issues of the window's stress cracks and milky clearcoat spots.

    Thanks and Congrats!

    #18 10 years ago

Mine is pretty darn clear. I'll shoot pics tomorrow for you,

I bought mine in August. No stress cracks and clear playfield window. Now mod it to your liking but an absolute must have is the train topper by Laseriffic sold thru Pinball Life. It is Da Bomb!!!

Congrats! Nothing like getting your first NIB. Feels like being five years old at Christmas.

    #23 10 years ago

I bought the train topper! I got one of the last 2 from Terry. I've already added a 100 watt dayton amp and a shaker. I have cliffy's to put on and the TNT led mod to add this weekend. Its so nice..

Not without replacing the entire playfield.

    Sheesh...hard to believe!

The new AC/DC Premiums have superior lower window clarity to previous models IMHO. The March 2012 forward games are the ones to get for future reference.
