    Quoted from Jaybird815:

Chicago style- relish, mustard, pickle, onion, tomato and sport peppers. On a poppy seed bun, of course.

For some reason, poppy-seed buns don't exist in CA. It's bizarre. I want to get them...but I'd have to mail order!!!

Chicago style bagel dogs were the bomb, too.

Pretzel buns are pretty rad, though.

    Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:

Didn't see the option for a dill pickle. The best ones to use are the dill stackers (thin slices the full length of the pickle), but hamburger slices will work in a pinch.

If they're neon green and not in the refrigerated section, they're trash, IMO.

Clausen Pickles are the best "mainstream" dill.

Grillos & Sonoma are great if you can get them.

    Quoted from DanQverymuch:

That's my whole point, one region's ways are another's no-no's. Doesn't mean one is "right."

    The Chicago way is right.

    Quoted from TreyBo69:

Hot dogs are not BBQ, it's grilling

A lot of people call grills "BBQs"

    Quoted from NashtyFunk:

Just cause it’s sacrilege to call hot dogs bbq

I don't think anyone calls Hot dogs themselves BBQ...but you make them ON a BBQ.

    Quoted from TreyBo69:

    It's a regional thing...I don't know anyone who calls a grill a BBQ
Course around here, there's still plenty of people who call any sort of soft-drink a coke.

That was very confusing the first time I experienced that. A friend asked for a Coke...got a Coke...and was pissed because he wanted a Sprite.
