Anyone have a source for the pop bumper switches in Medusa?
Parts catalog on Planetary Pinball states the part number is ASW-A1-195.
I've searched all over, so I wonder if people are using an alternative that works?

I've got the bodies, the skirts, the collars, caps, yokes, but not the switches.

Thanks,
Doug

I can't find the pop-bumper bases either.

I wonder if those could be 3D printed

Oh, you mean the bases. Yeah, that would definitely be a possibility for 3D printing, and for some of the folks
on here who work in plastics too!

So...no sources for the switch stack. If they break, do you all just take the switch
apart and attempt to replace just the blades?

That's what I did for a recent Silverball Mania restore, worked just fine.

JJ,
I E-mailed them, and they replied that they didn't have the switches. You have a link?

Guess Marco is sold out

Yeah, I was really wanting the rebuild to be all new and minty parts.
But, considering we're talking '81, I got most of the parts.

Thanks for the attempt tho.

Panda,
I saw those at one point, but I believe I opted out of buying them due to them
being yellow. But, since you found them for me, I decided to inquire with them,
to see if that is just a trick of the camera, and their now really yellow.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Watch Ebay, the complete assemblies pop up every so often. I scored several when I needed them; base, switch, the whole shebang.

Just checked, and there's a couple on there right now. You'd have to make sure the switch stack is the same part # though.

That's a great idea!
I looked at those, and looked up the part number for the switch stack. Medusa has ASW-A1-195. Pacman has ASW-A1-105.
But I have no idea if that means their different, or they decided to give that stack a different number than the one on Medusa.
That's what's tough about getting these replacement parts. Those do look really clean tho........

Well, I decided to do a search on part number, in regard to the base.
So far, I've hammered the Internet for the switch assembly. I actually
found the bases over in the Netherlands, and bought 4 of them.

Unfortunately it was 60 bucks. But, I got them so as much as possible is replaced with new.
